To clear stages and survive high-density enemy waves in Knight Survivor, adjust your movement pattern to the map layout and prioritize projectile weapons that clear multiple targets at once.

Success requires pairing spatial positioning with appropriate weapon skills: kite in circles around open round maps, or bottleneck enemies from the top or bottom edge of narrow vertical maps.

Stage Layout Movement and Weapon Choice

Different stage formats require distinct positioning tactics to maximize your weapon damage and keep enemies from overwhelming your character.

Round Stages

• Movement: Move continuously along the outer perimeter of the map.
• Objective: Prevent enemies from surrounding your character while grouping them into tight clusters.
• Targeting: Direct area-of-effect attacks into the main cluster to hit maximum targets per cooldown cycle.

Vertical Stages

• Movement: Hold position near the top or bottom of the screen.
• Objective: Force approaching mobs into narrow channels to form single-file lines.
• Targeting: Fire piercing projectiles down the bottleneck line to hit multiple targets along the entire corridor.

Weapon and Skill Priorities

When picking level-up skills during a run, focus on options that scale your damage output against large crowds.

1. Prioritize Projectile Upgrades: Select bonuses that increase total projectile count, firing speed, or target piercing. Keeping enemies at distance is critical to avoiding run failures.
2. Align Hero Synergies: Choose skill trees that match your character's base stats. If a hero has inherent projectile speed or attack bonuses, stack complementary offensive skills immediately.
