To locate the final beacon in The Lords of the Fallen, travel to the upper elevated ruins of the Fief of the Chill. You must ascend through the mountain pass using frost-covered stone arches as landmarks and activate your Umbral lamp whenever physical paths end at dead-end ledges.

Route and Navigation

Reaching the summit requires moving upward through ruined architecture rather than clearing lower valley areas.

  • Follow Stone Arches: Large, frost-covered stone arches mark the ascent out of the lower village. If you enter areas dominated by repetitive wooden structures, you have strayed off course and should double back to the archways.
  • Use the Umbral Lamp: Snow and debris frequently block the Axiom path. When a walkway ends at a drop-off, switch into the Umbral realm to reveal hidden platforms or ethereal bridges.
  • Look for Ethereal Lights: Blue ethereal light glowing behind ice-caked debris indicates a hidden path or climbable wall. Destroy or circumvent the barriers to continue upward.

Handling Combat and Enemy Encounters

Enemies along the ascent are aggressive and can easily knock you off narrow ledges. Conserving healing items for the boss encounter at the beacon gate is essential.

  1. Bypass Minor Mobs: Avoid protracted fights on narrow staircases. Thin small groups with hit-and-run attacks or sprint past minor frost enemies directly to the next Vestige checkpoint.
  2. Break Posture on Sentinels: Armored sentinels guarding narrow passes require heavy attacks or parries to break their posture. Once staggered, move past them rather than spending extra resources to finish full fights.
  3. Watch Ledge Corners: Ranged units frequently ambush players near mountain precipices. Slow down when rounding corners to avoid being knocked off the walkway.
