To clear Main Story stage 1-1-5 in Branah Plains in LAST CLOUDIA: Pixel Art RPG, move your active hero to cluster enemy waves together, manually target high-threat ranged units, and save your Ark abilities and Special Gauge for the final wave.

Managing Combat Flow and Skill Charges

Branah Plains 1-1-5 introduces dense waves of early enemies that can quickly surround your party. Avoid standing still at the start of a combat wave. Instead, manually control your main character to lead incoming mobs into a tight group. Once enemies are clustered, trigger area-of-effect (AoE) skills to hit multiple targets at once and shorten wave duration.

To maintain steady momentum across the stage:

  • Use Basic Attacks on Single Low-HP Foes: Finish off solitary or low-health enemies with standard attacks to build up your Skill Charge.
  • Conserve Heavy Skills for Enemy Crowds: Avoid spending high-impact skills on individual targets right before a fresh wave spawns.

Target Selection and Break Mechanics

Manual target prioritization prevents fragile units from taking unnecessary damage and stops enemies from interrupting your party's attacks.

  1. Focus Ranged Foes First: Target ranged units immediately. Their attacks can interrupt your unit skill animations and spellcasting if left unattended.
  2. Exploit the Break State: Watch for glowing or flashing enemy health indicators under pressure. When an enemy nears its stun threshold, concentrate your party's damage on that target to trigger a Break. Broken enemies cannot attack, creating a safe window to inflict massive damage or reposition.

Utilizing Arks, Special Gauges, and Positioning

Equip Arks before launching stage 1-1-5 to benefit from their passive stat boosts and active combat abilities. If an equipped Ark provides an active offensive skill, save it for the final wave to eliminate the boss or clear the largest mob group immediately.

Special Gauge Timing

Your Special Gauge builds at the bottom of the screen through consistent attack hits. Treat your Special as a finisher for the boss wave or a defensive countermeasure when surrounded. Activating a Special grants a brief period of invulnerability, allowing you to dodge heavy enemy attacks while dealing substantial damage.

Unit Positioning and Crowd Control

Keep melee characters at the front of the encounter to draw enemy aggression. If flanking units slip past the frontline toward back-line caster or support characters, manually drag those squishier units away to force enemies to turn back toward your tanks. You can also trigger skills with knockback attributes to clear space whenever your party gets swarmed.
