Use Darius’s Apprehend when an opponent commits to a last hit, since that moment can make it harder for them to avoid the pull. Hold the ability if missing it would leave you exposed to a mobile or ranged opponent.
When to use Apprehend
Watch for an opponent moving in to last-hit a minion. If they commit, use Apprehend to pull them toward Darius and follow with an attack. The timing can create an opportunity to trade, but it does not guarantee a kill or prevent the opponent from escaping.
When to hold the pull
Apprehend is a key part of the draft’s suggested trade, so a miss can leave you without that option while the opponent can respond. Avoid using it just to fish for a catch when the opponent still has mobility available. Consider committing when the opponent has used a mobility skill or when your jungler is ganking.
