Use Tristana’s Rocket Jump to pursue a takedown only when you have a clear chance to trigger its reset. If an enemy diver threatens you, save the jump to create distance instead.

When to jump in

The draft identifies a kill or a fully stacked Explosive Charge detonation as ways to reset Rocket Jump. When either outcome looks achievable, jumping toward a low-health enemy can help you continue the attack after the reset.

If you are not confident you can secure the reset, avoid jumping into the enemy team. You may lose your escape option and leave yourself vulnerable.

When to hold the jump

Keep Rocket Jump available when an enemy diver could reach you. Use it to create space rather than treating it as your main damage tool. In a teamfight, stay behind your frontline and preserve the jump for an escape unless a reset opportunity is clear.
