To enchant red (Heroic) weapons to +10 in Lineage2M without risking your main character's combat power, rotate tradeable weapons to alternate characters using shared account storage. This method consumes character-bound weapon scrolls and Adena accumulated on alts from daily dungeons, shops, and codex rewards while shielding your primary character from gear destruction.

Required Preparation and Materials

Before beginning an enhancement session, verify that your base items and materials meet the following conditions:

  • Tradeable Heroic Weapons: You must use unbound, tradeable red weapons. Items bound to a specific character cannot be transferred through the account warehouse.
  • Standard Weapon Enhancement Scrolls: Stockpile standard scrolls on your alts to push weapons through the safe enhancement levels.
  • Blessed Weapon Enhancement Scrolls: These grant a random increase of +1, +2, or +3 enhancement levels on a successful attempt.
  • Liquid Adena: Ensure each alt holds enough gold to cover repeated enchantment fees and warehouse retrieval costs.

Enchantment Sequence and Blessed Scroll Breakpoints

Weapons in Lineage2M have a safe enchantment limit up to +6. Any attempt beyond +6 carries a chance of weapon destruction. Follow this step sequence to minimize risk:

  1. Enchant to Safe Limit: Use standard weapon enhancement scrolls to bring the tradeable red weapon to +5 or +6.
  2. Apply Blessed Scrolls at the Threshold: Do not use blessed scrolls before +5. Apply a Blessed Weapon Enhancement Scroll at +5 or +6 to attempt a critical jump of up to three levels, which can boost the item directly to +7, +8, or +9.
  3. Evaluate at High Tiers: Reaching +8 or +9 via a blessed jump bypasses several single-upgrade failure checks. From +8 or +9, make deliberate single attempts toward +10 only if you have replacement gear available.

Risk Management: Batch Enchanting vs. Single-Target Gambles

Attempting to push a single red weapon directly to +10 often leads to total item loss. Batch enchanting multiple weapons concurrently distributes risk and maintains backup progression.

When to Stop and Transfer Gear

A successful +8 or +9 red weapon provides substantial upgrades to base attack, accuracy, and PvE damage amplification over standard +6 gear. If an alt hits +8 or +9:

  • Transfer to Main Immediately: If your main character lacks an equal or better weapon, stop enchanting, deposit the weapon into account storage, and equip it on your main character.
  • Push to +10 Only With a Backup: Attempt the final push to +10 only when your main character already has a secure, high-tier weapon equipped.
  • Recycle Failed Attempts: If an item breaks during the over-enchant push, use the resulting materials or shards for collection codex entries to regain account value.
