To beat Match Factory! Level 1969, focus entirely on matching designated target items visible on the surface of the pile while keeping at least three slots open in your bottom tray. Dense layers of non-target clutter obscure the required pieces on this stage, making uncontrolled tapping the fastest route to filling your seven-slot tray and failing the level.

Target Priority and Board Assessment

Review the target checklist at the top of the screen before picking your first item. Level 1969 surrounds objectives with irrelevant objects designed to divert attention and consume tray space.

Match complete sets of three from the top down. If two target pieces sit in the open while a third rests slightly underneath an obstacle, only clear that obstacle if you can match it immediately or expose the target right away. Never dig for single, deeply buried items while accessible triples remain on the surface.

Tray Management and the Two-Pair Rule

Your holding bar contains seven total slots. Once four or five slots are occupied by incomplete sets, you lose the flexibility needed to clear blocking items, which often leads to an accidental game over.

To prevent overflow, limit your tray to a maximum of two incomplete sets at any time:

  • Two active pairs: If your tray holds two pieces of a target and two pieces of an incidental item, four slots are occupied.
  • Three empty slots remaining: Use these remaining spaces solely to find the third piece for one of your existing pairs.
  • No new item types: Refrain from picking a fresh item type until at least one incomplete set has cleared from the tray.

Maintaining this buffer prevents you from reaching six filled slots, where any misclick ends the attempt.

Deconstructing Wide Obstacles

Level 1969 stacks items into a tall central mound. Digging directly into the sides creates violent physics shifts that slide clutter over previously exposed targets.

Instead, work evenly from the crest of the pile downward. Pay special attention to wide, flat items resting across multiple objects. These act as shields, preventing the game from registering taps on the layers directly below. Matching these broad items removes the barrier and allows the lower items to settle gently into view without shuffling targets into harder-to-reach angles.

Stage Pacing and Booster Use

The level countdown creates urgency, but tapping randomly to beat the clock frequently strands unusable items in your tray. Manage your run across three distinct phases:

  1. Initial Scan: Spend the first few seconds identifying where the required objectives sit on the top layer and plan your opening two matches.
  2. Layered Clearing: Match accessible target triples and clear only the clutter sets that directly expose buried objectives.
  3. Endgame Sprint: Once the central mound is flattened, remaining targets sit spread out on the floor. Match them quickly to finish before time expires.

If a structural bottleneck threatens your run, deploy utility boosters before your tray completely fills:

  • Vacuum: Use the Vacuum when target items are visible but scattered across opposite sides of the board. It pulls and completes target objectives directly, bypassing the need to clear intervening items.
  • Fan: Use the Fan when key target pieces remain pinned beneath heavy, immovable non-target clusters. Shuffling the board redistributes the pile and often brings trapped objectives straight to the top.
