To design a character using the Hazel archetype in MiniMuses, select Hazel as your base model, configure your clothing layers in the studio UI, and use manual offset controls if assets clip into the model skeleton.

Managing Clothing Layers and Color Palettes

The Hazel base model provides a modular foundation that supports accessory and clothing layering without requiring a complete character rebuild. This base model allows for fast visual changes while avoiding skeleton compatibility issues when creating original characters or character variations.

Follow this sequence to set up garments and colors:

  1. Set Layer Priority: Arrange garments in the UI from inner to outer layers, such as placing an inner tunic under an outer jacket.
  2. Apply Manual Offsets: If fine details, patterns, or jewelry sink into underlying garments, shift the asset forward using manual offset controls to keep the items visible.
  3. Assign Color Schemes: Open the color-picker tool to set distinct primary, secondary, and accent colors across base clothing and accessories to keep the palette cohesive.

Prop Integration and Posing Adjustments

Once clothing layers and colors are configured, finish the design using studio tools to attach props, adjust facial expressions, and set character posing.
