To evolve Sprigatito in Pokémon Quest, raise it to level 16 to trigger its evolution into Floragato, then push Floragato to level 36 to obtain Meowscarada. You must ensure the Everstone setting on its profile is toggled off before completing the required level thresholds.

Note that Sprigatito and its evolutionary line are exclusive to the mainland Chinese client of Pokémon Quest (宝可梦大探险). The international release on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android features only Generation 1 species; cooking pots and encounters in standard international versions cannot summon or evolve Paldea starters.

Evolution Requirements and Type Changes

Sprigatito follows standard starter level milestones. Each evolution increases base stats and changes typing at the final stage.

FormLevel RequiredTypingCombat Focus
SprigatitoBaseGrassEarly-game attacker
FloragatoLevel 16GrassMid-game damage dealer
MeowscaradaLevel 36Grass / DarkHigh-damage burst DPS

Reaching level 16 keeps Floragato as a pure Grass-type Pokémon while improving base HP and Attack. Crossing level 36 transforms it into Meowscarada and adds Dark typing. This dual typing grants native Same-Type Attack Bonus (STAB) benefits to Dark-type moves and alters its available move pool.

Everstone Check and Leveling Methods

Pokémon Quest prevents any evolution while a Pokémon's Everstone is active. Check the toggle before committing training resources:

  1. Open the Base Camp menu.
  2. Select Pokémon Roster.
  3. Tap Sprigatito (or Floragato).
  4. Verify the Everstone icon in the upper-right corner is set to OFF.

If a Pokémon reaches level 16 or 36 while the Everstone is turned on, it will not evolve. To resolve this, toggle the Everstone off and raise the Pokémon by one additional level through an expedition or training session to trigger the evolution sequence.

Efficient Leveling

To reach level 36 quickly, use two primary progression routes:

  • Stage Expeditions: Place Sprigatito into mid-to-high-level expedition teams supported by strong carry units. Equip Power Stones with EXP Drop bonuses to maximize experience gained per expedition.
  • Level-Up Training: Sacrifice duplicate or low-value Pokémon in the base camp training interface. Supporting training with matching Grass-type Pokémon provides significantly higher experience returns than using unrelated types.

Bingo Bonus Shifts and Power Stones

When Sprigatito evolves, its unlocked Bingo Bonuses automatically recalculate. Early forms frequently show higher percentage values for basic attack cooldowns or Grass move reductions. These values scale down slightly upon evolving into Floragato and Meowscarada to offset the Pokémon's much higher baseline stats. The substantial boost in base Attack and HP from Meowscarada outweighs the lower percentage modifiers of the unevolved forms.

As Power Stone sockets unlock with leveling, favor Attack (ATK) stone slots over Health (HP) slots. Meowscarada operates primarily as an offensive burst attacker rather than a frontline damage sponge.

Move Training and Team Setup

After reaching level 36, use Move Training at base camp to replace early Grass techniques with high-tier endgame moves.

  • Target Moves: Teach Meowscarada specialized offensive skills such as Flower Trick or Night Slash.
  • Move Stones: Link Wait Less Stones to reduce the cooldowns of burst abilities, Whack-Whack Stones to trigger repeat attacks against bosses, or Broadburst Stones to expand skill area-of-effect against dense enemy waves.
  • Team Role: Meowscarada has low base defensive stats and should not serve as your primary frontline target. Pair it with a defensive buffer running Bulk Up (such as Machop or Mewtwo) equipped with Sharing Stones so Meowscarada receives consistent survivability and damage buffs during combat.
