To clear Regalle delivery routes in Postknight 2, prioritize reactive defense against swooping aerial attackers, break through high-resistance frontliners before projectile volleys overwhelm you, and equip a weapon archetype tailored to the threats of each route.
Countering Regalle Enemy Patterns
Regalle replaces standard marching melee units with erratic spectral foes, armored construct sentries, and synchronized ranged waves.
Spectral Ground Foes and Construct Sentries
- Memory Apparitions and Duelists: These enemies gather a visible spectral aura or execute a sudden backstep right before attacking. They deliver multi-hit flurries rather than single strikes. Keep your defensive skills active through the entire strike window rather than charging in blindly, as offensive collisions can leave you trapped mid-flurry.
- Construct Sentries: Sentries deflect unbuffed forward attacks and absorb heavy physical punishment. Eliminate them quickly using guard-breaking skills or burst damage. If allowed to linger, they shield the ranged units firing from behind them.
Aerial Dive-Bombers and Ranged Casters
- Hold shield until the descent: Ranged aerial units hover above your standard melee plane before diving at steep angles. Raising your shield too early wastes its active window, while charging forward causes a direct mid-air collision. Raise your shield only when the flyer reaches the apex of its rise and angles downward.
- Punish grounded recovery: Dive-bombers land briefly after striking. Use this recovery window to unleash rapid melee combos before they take off again.
- Charge through projectile volleys: Ranged phantoms and constructs wind up glowing projectiles from the screen edge. Time your forward charge to advance through projectile trajectories and interrupt their casting frames directly.
Regalle Weapon Archetypes
Equipping the right weapon archetype lets you counter specific stage compositions encountered across Regalle routes.
| Weapon Archetype | Best Route Role | Core Strength | Key Limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sword & Shield | Safe route progression | Reliable blocking against dense ranged volleys and consistent crowd control | Lower burst damage against heavily armored construct sentries |
| Dual Daggers | Phantom hunting and speed clears | High evasion and fast critical hits to shred fragile ground apparitions | Leaves you vulnerable to mistimed dive-bombs and burst damage |
| Two-Handed Hammer | Sentry control | Heavy blunt impact and stun potential to crack armored sentries | Slow swing recovery leaves you exposed to agile flyers |
Use the Sword & Shield when entering unfamiliar Regalle routes to safely absorb projectile barrages. Once enemy spawn timings are familiar, switch to Dual Daggers to eliminate backline casters before they complete their wind-ups.
Route Potion Timing and Stat Priorities
Because Regalle encounters feature overlapping multi-hit attacks, reactive emergency healing often fails.
- Heal early: Drink your potion when your health drops to roughly 65–70% if a wave of constructs is approaching. Taking damage during the drinking animation can prove fatal if your health is already flashing red.
- Block through potion cooldowns: If your potion is recharging during a heavy wave, focus entirely on shielding and parrying incoming hits rather than initiating charges.
- Save burst abilities for end-route checkpoints: Regalle stages regularly place sentry-and-flyer combinations at the end of a segment. Hold your primary damage skills for these final walls so you can eliminate sentries immediately.
- Allocate stats into Agility and Vitality: Prioritize Vitality to expand your maximum health pool against surprise burst volleys, and invest in Agility to raise your dodge chance and critical strike rate. Over-investing in raw Strength leaves your defenses too low to endure sustained magic pressure.

I wish I had read this before upgrading the wrong thing.
Can you add more details about strategy in a future update?
I tried this today and it worked better than my old setup.
Nice guide. I am checking the other Postknight 2 articles next.
