Before the Live Arena ban timer expires, identify what makes the opponent’s team work. Ban a key support if removing it disrupts the rest of the lineup; otherwise, assess the other picks for the clearest threat to your plan.
A simple ban process
- Look at the full lineup. Consider how the opponent’s picks fit together instead of judging each champion alone.
- Identify the team’s apparent plan. The draft suggests watching for a go-first damage team or a slower team built around sustain and support.
- Check whether a support enables that plan. A reviver, cleanser, or speed-aura lead may be a priority if the rest of the lineup depends on it.
- Ban based on the board. If removing that support disrupts the team’s plan, target it. If not, choose the most relevant threat to your own win condition.
This is a draft-based decision rule, not a universal ban ranking: the right target depends on the champions selected in that match.
