In RAID: Shadow Legends, a 20x summoning event increases the relative drop weight of a featured champion—such as Miyoko—if you land a legendary champion, but it does not increase the base legendary drop rate of your shards. Before spending your stockpile, audit your current inventory against upcoming progression needs to decide whether chasing a single champion is worth the risk.

How 20x Multipliers Work

A 20x event changes only the distribution pool within a specific champion rarity tier. The base probability of pulling a legendary champion from an Ancient, Void, or Sacred Shard remains identical to standard rates outside of extra double-rate (2x) events.

Because 20x banners often appear directly before Fusion events or Champion Chase tournaments, spending resources without a plan can stall account progression. Run through this evaluation before pulling:

Roster Gaps: Determine if the featured champion fills a required role in high-priority content like Clan Boss, Hydra, or Arena. If your current roster already handles that role, pass on the banner.
Upcoming Fusions: Check if spending your shards now will leave you without enough Summon Rush points to complete the next scheduled Fusion event.
Mercy Counters: Track your current pull count toward the mercy threshold. Using accumulated mercy pulls during a 20x banner risks resetting your counter on an unintended legendary if the 20x target fails to land.

Execution and Exit Limits

If your roster requires the featured champion and your shard reserve supports the attempt, establish strict spending bounds before summoning:

Set a Hard Shard Limit: Decide the exact number of Sacred or Ancient shards you are willing to spend before pulling.
Stop Immediately at the Limit: If you reach your limit without pulling the target champion, halt all further pulls to protect remaining resources for guaranteed events.
Preserve Fusion Reserves: Maintain a baseline reserve of shards dedicated solely to milestone completion in upcoming events.
