Anaxia is not worth a major resource investment for most accounts in RAID: Shadow Legends. Her kit sits between a debuffer and a secondary damage dealer without excelling at either role. Even when equipped with high-end offensive artifacts such as Cruel, Savage, or Lethal sets, her base multipliers prevent her from acting as a true wave clearer or dungeon nuker. Furthermore, her base debuff chances are unreliable without Epic Skill Tomes, creating an expensive opportunity cost compared to top-tier utility champions.

Unless you are actively stuck in Lizardmen Faction Wars and lack alternative wave controllers, keep Anaxia in your vault.

Why Anaxia Underperforms

Anaxia struggles primarily because her performance does not justify the high stat and skill book requirements she demands. Premium Epic debuffers typically offer 100% placement rates when booked, along with potent team utility like Speed auras, Leech, or revives. Anaxia lacks self-sustain, requires defensive teammates to keep her alive, and offers lower native trigger rates.

Because her scaling remains mediocre against high-defense targets, she is an inefficient choice for late-stage Dungeons and the Iron Twins Fortress.

Where Anaxia Has Value

Anaxia's primary practical use is in the Lizardmen Crypt for Faction Wars (specifically stages 14 through 21). The Lizardmen faction offers sturdy defensive champions like Rhazin Scarhide, but rosters lacking top damage dealers often struggle to clear waves or manage boss turn meters. In that setting, Anaxia provides supplemental chip damage and turn-meter reduction to help secure three-star clears.

She can also fill occasional slots in Doom Tower Secret Rooms with strict affinity or Epic-only constraints, provided she has already been built for Faction Wars.

Stat and Gear Priorities

If you must use Anaxia to progress through Lizardmen Faction Wars, build her for utility and survivability rather than pure damage. Forcing her into a glass-cannon nuker role causes her to die before cycling through her skills.

Target Stat Thresholds

  • Accuracy (220–250): Ensures she lands turn-meter reduction and debuffs against Stage 20+ Dungeon enemies and high-tier Faction Wars waves.
  • Speed (190–210): Allows her to cycle abilities and maintain turn control before enemy waves take action.
  • Survivability (HP% & DEF%): Use defensive main stats on chest and ring artifacts to compensate for her low base defenses.
  • Critical Rate & Critical Damage: Treat offensive stats strictly as secondary bonuses after reaching your Speed and Accuracy baselines.
  • Perception: The most cost-effective option, crafted in the Forge to hit both Speed and Accuracy thresholds simultaneously.
  • Stun or Taunting: Adds crowd control to her attacks, giving her extra disruption utility during Faction Wars waves without requiring heavy damage stats.

The Next Step: Vault or Test at Level 50

To manage your resources efficiently, take the following approach:

  1. Check your roster: If you already have established debuffers and controllers such as Deacon Armstrong, Stag Knight, Madame Serris, or Uugo, vault Anaxia immediately.
  2. Test before committing: If your Lizardmen Faction Wars team is stalled, level Anaxia to 50 and equip her in crafted Perception gear with at least 190 Speed and 220 Accuracy.
  3. Hold your Skill Tomes: Test her in your Faction Wars lineup at Rank 5 without spending Epic Skill Tomes. Only consider taking her to Rank 60 or using books if your team consistently fails to survive or complete the stage.
