RAID: Shadow Legends: Corvis and Rector Drath Starter Guide

To set up a stable starter roster in RAID: Shadow Legends, create your account through the Patriot Day limited-time promotional offer. Claim Corvis the Corruptor in Step 1 as your primary debuffer, then complete Step 2 to unlock Epic support champion Rector Drath. Combining these two champions provides immediate debuffing and healing capabilities, reducing your dependence on early shard pulls.

Unlocking and Champion Roles

Follow the two-step promotional setup sequence during account creation:

Step 1: Register through the Patriot Day limited-time offer to start with Corvis the Corruptor.
Step 2: Complete the follow-up prompt to unlock Epic champion Rector Drath.

Core Roster Functions

Corvis the Corruptor: Serves as your primary debuffer. His Poison Sensitivity mechanic accelerates damage against bosses and wave enemies, stabilizing early runs in dungeons such as the Dragon's Lair.
Rector Drath: Serves as your primary defensive support. Her continuous healing and defensive buffs protect your damage dealers during extended encounters.

Early Progression Priorities

Once both champions are unlocked, focus your early resources on these progression goals:

Maximize Level Caps: Raise Corvis and Rector Drath to their current rank limits before spreading resources across temporary Rare champions.
Clear Brutal Campaign: Use Rector Drath's sustain and Corvis's debuffs to push through Campaign stages up to Brutal difficulty to unlock reliable farming locations.
Equip Core Artifact Sets: Farm 4-star and 5-star Speed and Defense gear sets directly from Campaign stages to build baseline survivability and turn speed.
Manage Currency: Save your Gems to purchase full Masteries for Corvis and Rector Drath. Hold your Shards for scheduled summoning events rather than pulling early for missing roster roles.

Account Trade-offs

Using this starter setup offers clear progression benefits, but comes with specific account considerations:

Affinity Gaps: Heavy initial investment in two specific champions leaves fewer elemental choices for Faction Wars or specialized Secret Rooms early on.
Offer Availability: The Patriot Day promotion is a time-sensitive limited-time offer. Ensure the promotional link is active during account creation to receive both champions.
