Most players should skip the 20x Tekteon Fissureflesh progressive event in RAID: Shadow Legends. Save your Ancient and Sacred Shards for upcoming 2x double-rate events, Fusion milestones, or Guaranteed Champion events instead.
Why the 20x Progressive Chance Is a Resource Trap
A 20x event increases the relative weight of a specific Champion only after the game successfully rolls a Legendary drop. It does not increase the base percentage chance of pulling a Legendary unit from your shards.
- Base Drop Rates Remain Unchanged: Opening a shard during a 20x event yields the standard baseline chance for Legendary pulls.
- Target Uncertainty: Even if a Legendary Champion drops, the 20x multiplier only boosts the chance that the pulled Legendary is Tekteon Fissureflesh. It does not guarantee him.
- High Variance: Attempting to target one unit without boosted base rates requires a high volume of shards, which creates a steep resource requirement for early and mid-game accounts.

Only specific account conditions justify spending shards during a 20x Tekteon event:
- Endgame Roster Completion: You already maintain an endgame account, hold hundreds of shards, and specifically need Tekteon Fissureflesh for targeted roles, such as Hydra debuffing or Arena team compositions.
- Critical Event Overlap: The 20x window overlaps directly with a Clan vs. Clan (CvC) tournament or milestone requirement that you must meet for clan obligations, and you have enough surplus shards to reach those point thresholds regardless of the drop outcomes.
If your account does not meet these specific conditions, keep your shards in reserve and wait for transparent reward milestones.
