To survive the five nights of Rainbow Friends on Roblox, you must complete collection objectives while using the cardboard box disguise and matching your evasion route to the active monsters. Hiding in a box only protects you from sight-based monsters before they lock onto you, while other threats ignore the box completely and require strict pathing.

Deploy before being spotted: If a monster triggers an active chase with an alert sound, boxing in plain sight will not cancel the pursuit.
Break line of sight first: If Blue pursues you, sprint around a corner or break his visual angle before deploying the box.
Stand completely still: Moving while boxed within a monster's inspection range can break your disguise and trigger an instant kill.

Countering Each Monster

Blue (Night 1 Onward)

Blue roams common hallways, the playground, and the central theater stage while players gather 24 building blocks. He relies entirely on sight and makes loud, heavy footsteps.

When you hear footsteps, stop and check corridor angles.
If Blue has not spotted you, equip the box immediately and do not move until the audio fades.
When turning in items at the central stage, hug the perimeter walls and check adjacent doorways rather than idling in the open center.

Green (Night 2 Onward)

Green spawns on Night 2 during the hunt for 15 food bags. He is completely blind and constantly sweeps his extended arms.

The box provides zero safety against Green. His kill trigger relies entirely on physical player contact.
Listen for squeaking and rustling audio cues to detect his presence around corners.
Never try to slip beneath his arms or squeeze past him in narrow choke points. If Green idles in a doorway, wait for his movement cycle to clear the passage or take an alternate route.

Orange and Purple (Night 3 Onward)

Night 3 introduces 14 electrical fuses along with Orange and Purple.

Orange: Orange rests in his cave and hunts once his hunger meter runs out. You can reset his timer by pulling the food dispenser lever near his den. When Orange hunts, an orange chalk line on the floor catches fire. Clear the trail immediately and stand multiple steps away from the fiery line until he sprints past.
Purple: Purple hides inside the ventilation system. He cannot attack players who stay on dry surfaces. Look down before crossing water inside vents; if Purple's glowing eyes and hands appear in the puddle, cross only using the elevated wooden planks or dry floor pads.

Night 4 Blackout and the Final Escape

Night 4 turns off the facility lights and requires collecting 9 generator batteries while all four monsters roam.

Battery Gathering: Keep your flashlight pointed forward to spot Green's silhouette and water puddles, but turn off the light or retreat behind cover if you hear Blue approaching.
The Final Chase: Once the generator is active and the post-stage sequence triggers, Blue chases you through an escape tunnel. Do not equip the box or look backward during this scripted chase.
Clearing Obstacles: Jump over fallen blocks in the vents to maintain full sprint speed.
Triggering the Exit: Sprint straight down the final hallway and pull down the support plank at the doorway to drop the barrier, trapping Blue behind the rubble and finishing the escape.
