To beat Levels 51 through 100 in Royal Match without spending pre-game boosters or coins, play your moves at the bottom of the board to trigger cascades, construct in-board power-ups instead of settling for three-tile clears, and hold specials until you can combine them.

Stages in this bracket introduce denser obstacles and strict turn limits. Conserving your moves requires opening tile flow early, targeting multi-layered barriers with area-of-effect explosives, and planning combos two turns ahead.

Make Bottom-Board Matches to Trigger Natural Cascades

Prioritize matches near the bottom rows of the grid whenever you do not have an immediate objective match. Making matches low on the board causes columns of tiles above to drop downward, generating automatic chain reactions without using additional turns. These secondary cascades frequently damage adjacent obstacles and realign tiles into free four- and five-piece formations.

Only match near the top of the board when directly hitting a stage target or removing a blocker that prevents pieces from falling into lower columns. Playing high without a specific objective shifts only a few pieces and leaves the rest of the board stagnant.

Craft In-Board Power-Ups

Without pre-game boosters, in-board power-ups are your primary tool for clearing large sections of the grid. Prioritize board setups that yield high-tier explosives over simple three-tile matches.

Power-UpRequired Match ShapeBlast Effect
Rocket4 tiles in a lineClears a full row or column across the grid
Propeller4 tiles in a 2x2 squareClears an adjacent tile, then flies to a priority objective
TNT Barrel5 tiles in an L or T shapeClears a 3x3 area around the blast site
Light Ball5 tiles in a straight lineRemoves all tiles of a single chosen color

While Rockets handle single-lane obstacles, TNT Barrels and Light Balls provide the heavy board-clearing power needed for tougher stages. If you spot a four-tile line, check if delaying the match by one turn can pull a fifth matching piece into position to create a TNT Barrel or Light Ball instead.

Combine Power-Ups for Multiplier Effects

Detonating single power-ups rarely clears enough targets to meet move limits. Whenever possible, slide two adjacent power-ups into each other to multiply their clearing range.

  • Light Ball + Light Ball: Clears the entire board and damages one layer of every active obstacle.
  • Light Ball + TNT Barrel or Rocket: Converts all tiles matching the swapped item's color into duplicate TNT Barrels or Rockets and detonates them simultaneously.
  • TNT Barrel + TNT Barrel: Expands the standard 3x3 blast into a 5x5 explosion.
  • Propeller + TNT Barrel: Flies directly to an active objective and triggers a 3x3 TNT blast on impact.

Before swapping a Light Ball with a Rocket or TNT Barrel, check the board for tile distribution. Swapping the Light Ball into the color that appears most frequently creates the largest number of duplicate explosives across the grid.

Target Mid-Game Obstacles Efficiently

Levels 51 through 100 feature multi-layer crates and colored mailboxes that can deplete your turns if attacked inefficiently.

Multi-Layer Crates

Reinforced crates take two to three adjacent hits to break down completely. Avoid using standard three-tile matches on individual crates unless doing so opens up the bottom of the board. Instead, direct horizontal Rockets through crate rows or position TNT Barrels to damage multiple crates simultaneously. Clearing these early opens vertical pathways so new pieces can cascade into the lower board.

Mailboxes

Mailboxes release letters only when you make matches using their specific gem color adjacent to the slot or hit them with a power-up. If the required color is scarce near the mailbox, do not spend moves cycling standard tiles nearby. Use a Propeller or Rocket to strike the mailbox remotely while you work on clearing the rest of the board.

Manage Move Economy in the Final Turns

Before your first move, identify where the main blockers sit and locate the widest open space on the board for crafting power-ups. When you reach the final five moves with multiple objectives still standing, stop making single-target matches. Look for a two-turn combination setup instead. Aligning a Propeller with a TNT Barrel or pairing two specials can clear several distant objectives in one blast, whereas making direct three-tile matches will exhaust your remaining turns.
