To beat Level 3501 in Royal Match, focus your opening moves on the bottom and center of the grid to clear obstacles and create space for power-up combinations. Standard three-piece matches will not clear the board within the move limit. Creating cascade drops and pairing high-impact boosters are required to remove multi-layered obstacles before using Propellers to clear leftover targets.

Start at the Bottom to Create Cascades

Begin the level by matching tiles in the lowest available rows rather than taking visual matches near the top.

  • Trigger gravity refills: Matches near the base force entire columns downward, reshuffling the board and creating automatic secondary matches that cost no turns.
  • Open tile flow: Clearing bottom obstacles opens dormant lanes so new tiles can drop into place, creating the room needed to assemble four- and five-tile power-ups.
  • Target adjacent blockers: When choosing between two lower-board moves, always take the match that directly damages an adjacent obstacle.

Pair Boosters for Maximum Board Coverage

Single boosters provide minimal clearing value relative to the turns required to build them. Hold individual power-ups until you can slide a complementary booster next to them for a combo.

Booster CombinationBoard EffectBest Use on Level 3501
Light Ball + RocketConverts matching color into directional RocketsSweeps multiple rows and columns across dense obstacle clusters
Light Ball + TNTConverts matching color into active explosivesClears large central spaces and strips multi-layer obstacles
TNT + RocketBlasts a three-tile-wide horizontal and vertical crossPierces perimeter barriers and clears blocked columns
Propeller + PropellerLaunches three separate guided hitsStrikes isolated corner tiles and awkward perimeter targets

Pairing a Light Ball with a Rocket or TNT clears the widest area in a single move. If you generate a standalone Rocket or TNT, spend a turn maneuvering matching tiles adjacent to it rather than detonating it alone.

Break Multi-Layer Obstacles Along a Single Flank

Dense blocker formations restrict piece movement until you pierce an entry point. Concentrate consecutive matches against one specific side of an obstacle cluster rather than spreading damage evenly across the entire barrier.

Punching through a single lane allows tiles to drop through the gap, creating matches behind the defensive line and letting gravity clear remaining layers from within. If you cannot make a direct match against an obstacle, align a horizontal or vertical Rocket along that blocker's axis to chip away at multiple targets simultaneously.

Save Propellers for the Endgame

Propellers automatically track active level objectives, making them ideal for finishing hard-to-reach targets.

  1. Hold early Propellers: Avoid setting off single Propellers during early turns when dense central obstacles absorb hits indiscriminately.
  2. Merge with Rockets: In the mid-game, pair a Propeller with a Rocket. The Propeller carries the explosive directly to an objective tile and triggers a row-and-column blast at the impact point.
  3. Clean up corners: Reserve individual Propellers for your final turns to eliminate lone blockers stranded in corners where match-3 alignments cannot form.

Turn Economy Rules

Every turn must advance the board state toward completion. Before making a move, verify that it accomplishes at least one of these goals:

  • Damages a target obstacle directly.
  • Combines two adjacent power-ups or sets up an immediate combo.
  • Clears lower-board dead tiles to prompt a cascade.

Do not spend turns making four-tile matches near the top of the board if the resulting Rocket cannot reach an obstacle or merge with another booster. Additionally, allow each cascade sequence to settle completely before making your next move so you do not interrupt natural chain reactions.
