To win the Boot Camp tutorial battles in SIEGE: World War II, immediately deploy Riflemen to occupy the neutral center trench, keep a reserve of two to three Supply points, and soften enemy bunkers with explosive tactic cards before sending your infantry to destroy the hostile Command Post.
Securing the Center Trench Early
Deploy your primary Riflemen squad down the main lane the moment the match begins and your Supply gauge allows. In SIEGE: World War II, units caught fighting in the open take direct small-arms fire, while troops stationed inside a trench receive significant defensive damage reduction.
Controlling the center trench provides three immediate tactical advantages:
- Damage mitigation: Your troops absorb incoming hostile fire while taking reduced damage.
- Lane control: Entrenched squads stop incoming enemy foot soldiers before they can advance toward your territory.
- Supply efficiency: Seizing the trench first forces the opponent to spend excess Supply attempting to dislodge your defenders.
If enemy units reach the neutral ditch before your squads arrive, do not feed unsupported infantry into their firing line. Conserve your resources to dislodge them rather than fighting at a cover disadvantage.
Managing Supply and Deployment Cadence
Supply recharges automatically throughout each match and acts as the currency required to play troop and tactic cards. Spending your entire Supply pool in a single push leaves you unable to react to sudden enemy reinforcements or lane pressure.
Follow these resource guidelines during early engagements:
- Maintain a reserve: Keep at least two to three Supply points unspent so you can deploy reactive fire support or counter-units when needed.
- Avoid isolated drops: Do not send lone infantry squads down a lane without backup or defensive cover, as fortified defenders eliminate them quickly.
- Stagger reinforcement waves: Once entrenched units clear an enemy wave, they will leave cover to push forward. Spawn secondary units slightly behind them so your follow-up echelon arrives at full health to replace falling front-line troops.
Neutralizing Forward Bunkers
Forward bunkers feature large health pools and automated machine guns that shred infantry in open ground. Rushing raw Riflemen squads directly at an intact bunker leads to heavy losses and stalls your offensive momentum.
Deploy explosive tactic cards, such as airstrikes or artillery bombardments, directly onto the bunker before your foot soldiers enter its firing radius. Weakening or destroying the fortification with fire support allows advancing waves to survive the approach and focus their damage on the remaining structures.
| Objective | Recommended Tool | Execution Method | Primary Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Neutral Trench Capture | Riflemen Squads | Deploy down the primary lane immediately at match start | Arriving late and fighting without cover |
| Bunker Suppression | Tactical Airstrike / Bombardment | Target the fortification directly before infantry arrives | Premature infantry advance leading to squad wipeouts |
| Command Post Breach | Concentrated Infantry Swarm | Advance through cleared lanes behind staggered waves | Exhausting Supply reserves before securing the base |
Once the forward bunker falls, maintain rolling reinforcement waves down the lane to breach the enemy Command Post and conclude the tutorial match.
