You can access the secret Office area in Sky: Children of the Light without owning a Founder's Cape (TGC blue cape) by finding the illusory wall in the Vault of Knowledge and slipping past the blue barrier's collision boundaries. Normally, passing through the gateway requires wearing the specialized cape or holding hands with a player who owns one, but solo climbers and prop users can bypass the gate entirely.

Locating the Hidden Pathway in the Vault of Knowledge

The path to the Office is located at the very start of the Vault of Knowledge realm:

  1. Load into the Vault of Knowledge from Home.
  2. Turn your camera around immediately without walking forward toward the elevator.
  3. Look at the wall behind your spawn point and head toward the dark stonework in the left-hand corner.
  4. Walk directly against the corner to pass straight through an illusory wall into an unlit corridor.
  5. Follow the pathway forward until you reach a clearing with a stone doorway, a spirit NPC, and a glowing blue barrier.

Methods to Bypass the Blue Barrier

The blue energy field only covers the doorway opening itself; it does not block the geometry above or beneath the frame. You can bypass the check using several physical exploits depending on your wing power and available gear.

Solo Wall Hop

Approach the rock crags directly to the upper-left of the doorway frame. Jump repeatedly against the seam while pressing forward and upward. Use a single wing flap to squeeze your avatar into the gap above the door's collision box. Once your character pops over the invisible lip, drop down onto the path behind the barrier.

Prop Shift

Equip a placeable seat or surface, such as a table, chair, or tent:

  1. Place the prop as close to the blue barrier's boundary as possible.
  2. Interact with the prop to sit down, which forces your avatar's position past the collision line.
  3. Stand up and dismount on the far side of the barrier.

Chibi Fall

If you have the Chibi Mask or an active Shrink Spell, head to the angled terrain beside the wall. Engage the sneak stance and pull your avatar downward to initiate a slope-fall through the floor mesh. Once underneath the terrain, fly forward beneath the doorway frame and jump back up onto the stone pathway behind the gate.

Reaching the Office Portal

Once you land behind the barrier, walk forward along the stone path through the foggy corridor. Avoid flying inside this tunnel, as invisible wind gusts can knock your character backward through the front face of the barrier, requiring you to repeat the bypass.

Continue on foot until you reach an open area with a floating stone platform. Step onto the center of the platform and confirm the interaction prompt to trigger the realm transition, which teleports you directly outside the Office building.

What to Do Inside the Office

The Office provides unique features not found in standard realms:

  • Candle Clusters: Collect multiple clusters of wax scattered across the ground floor cubicles, conference tables, and break rooms.
  • Rooftop Cannon: Take the interior stairs to the roof to find a cannon that launches your character high into the clouds for an instant flight recharge.
  • Event Cosmetics and NPCs: During special community events, such as Sky Anniversaries or Days of Mischief, event spirits appear here to offer exclusive items and dialogue.

Troubleshooting Stuck Positions

  • Falling into the Void: If a failed climb drops your avatar beneath the floor map, do not spend remaining flight flaps. The void contains a bottom reset plane that will fade to black and return you safely to the entrance path without stripping your Winged Light.
  • Stuck in the Barrier Seam: If your character becomes wedged midway through the wall collision, open the emote menu and select the default sit action. Changing your stance shifts your avatar's collision box and typically pulls your character fully onto the rear pathway.
