To use DataCore with Star Trek Timelines, extract your raw account JSON data through a web browser and paste it into the DataCore player tool. DataCore reads your owned crew, star levels, and equipment progress to provide account-specific recommendations for Behold packs, Cryostasis Vault freezing, Honor citations, and Voyage lineups.
How to Import Player Profile Data
DataCore does not automatically link to mobile game clients. You must provide a current data snapshot from your account via a web browser session:
- Log into Star Trek Timelines using a desktop web browser through the official web portal.
- Open the browser developer tools by pressing
F12(or right-clicking the page and selecting Inspect), then select the Network tab. - Refresh the page or open your in-game crew roster to generate network requests.
- Filter network activity by searching for
playeror locate the specific request containingplayer_data. - Copy the entire raw JSON text response from that request.
- Open the DataCore site, open the Profile or Player Tool tab, paste the JSON into the text input box, and submit the data.
DataCore evaluates this data locally in your session or retains it if you save your profile token. Re-upload your profile data whenever you make substantial account changes, such as adding stars to crew, immortalizing characters, or making multiple portal pulls.
Filtering and Managing Owned Crew
Once your data is loaded, DataCore maps your roster against the global crew database. This lets you filter by stats, equip requirements, and Cryostasis Collection traits to plan your daily chroniton and Replicator fuel usage.
| Filter Category | Target Settings | Practical Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Rarity & Level | 4-Star (Super Rare) or 5-Star (Legendary), under Level 100 | Identifies partially leveled characters taking up active crew slots. |
| Collections | Traits such as Diplomat, Klingon, or Jury Rigger | Targets crew needed to complete Cryostasis Collection threshold bonuses. |
| Tier Ratings | Big Book Tier 1 through Tier 4 | Prioritizes top-performing crew for leveling and item crafting. |
| Skill Sets | Rare skill combinations or primary pairs | Highlights gaps in your Shuttle, Gauntlet, and Voyage coverage. |
Using the Behold Helper for Portal Choices
The Behold Helper evaluates three-way portal reward choices against your current roster. To use the tool, paste the three offered crew names into the Behold search fields.
DataCore scores each option based on three roster conditions:
- Current Fusion Level: Adding a star to an owned crew member generally takes priority over claiming a new 1/5 Legendary, as fully fused 4-star crew routinely outperform unfused 1/5 characters on Voyages and Shuttles.
- Skill Duplication: The helper checks whether an option's skill set overlaps heavily with crew you have already fully leveled and equipped, helping you avoid redundant roster coverage.
- Cryostasis Collections: DataCore factors in whether a character advances difficult long-term milestone collections, such as Jury Rigger or Inspiring.
Managing Cryostasis Freezes and Honor Citations
Active roster slots are limited, making roster triage an ongoing requirement. DataCore helps identify which crew to safely freeze and which to upgrade.
Identifying Freeze Candidates
To clear roster space:
- Filter your roster for fully fused crew (such as 4/4 Super Rares) at level 99 or 100.
- Check their calculated rankings across Voyages and Shuttles.
- If a 4/4 crew member does not rank among your top three options for any skill pairing, equip their final items to immortalize them.
- Vault the immortalized crew member into Cryostasis to free an active slot without losing collection progress.
Prioritizing Honor Citations
Spending 50,000 Honor on a citation represents a major resource investment. The citation planner evaluates your partially fused 5-star Legendary crew to show which character gains the largest stat increase per star. Prioritize citations for 4/5 Legendaries that will immediately enter your top Voyage or Shuttle seats upon reaching 5/5.
Voyage and Event Optimization
DataCore includes dedicated calculation tools for ongoing game modes:
- Voyage Calculator: Reads your active ship roster, crew stats, and skill pairings to calculate lineups that maximize Voyage duration and hit required antimatter traits.
- Event Planner: Cross-references upcoming game events against your owned crew to show which characters receive event bonuses, allowing you to level and equip relevant variants ahead of time.
