Unlocking General Skywalker in Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes requires clearing all four tiers of the Clash on Kamino event. Tiers 1 and 3 are fleet encounters, while Tiers 2 and 4 are high-difficulty ground battles with strict squad requirements. Overcoming the event depends on using Courage burst damage in Tier 2 to eliminate critical support droids before General Grievous acts, and controlling General Skywalker's kneeling cycles in Tier 4 to eliminate CT-5555 "Fives" first.
---
Tier 1: Endurance Fleet Battle
Tier 1 pairs Mace Windu’s capital ship, the Endurance, against a Separatist fleet led by General Grievous. The goal is absorbing the initial wave of Separatist fire and preserving your fleet until Mace Windu cycles his ultimate ability.
- Deploy your frontline: Open with durable ships, specifically Clone Sergeant’s ARC-170 and Jedi Consular’s Starfighter, alongside Ahsoka Tano’s Jedi Starfighter.
- Absorb opening burst: Use Clone Sergeant to taunt and soak opening damage from enemy Vulture Droids.
- Call Plo Koon first: Summon Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter as your initial reinforcement to cleanse debuffs like Buzz Droids and Target Lock while restoring allied health and protection.
- Focus fire on Vulture Droids: Eliminate enemy Vulture Droids first to reduce inbound assists, using Ahsoka's special attack to strip enemy buffs.
---
Tier 2: Galactic Republic vs. General Grievous
Phase 2 requires a Galactic Republic squad consisting of Padmé Amidala, Jedi Knight Anakin, General Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, and either Shaak Ti or C-3PO. Surviving this stage requires neutralizing enemy dispels early and stacking Courage to bypass high droid health pools.
Phase 2 Target Priority
- B2 Super Battle Droid: Kill B2 immediately. B2 passively gains turn meter, dispels your squad's buffs, and inflicts team-wide Buff Immunity, which prevents Padmé's Protection Up engine from working.
- IG-100 MagnaGuard: Take out MagnaGuard next to remove taunts and counter-attacks. Use Ahsoka’s basic attack or Padmé’s kick specials to dispel taunt whenever MagnaGuard redirects focus away from priority targets.
- Droideka: Eliminate Droideka before its Charged ability wipes a character. Avoid attacking Droideka when its Damage Immunity shield is active unless using a buff dispel.
- B1 Battle Droid: Attack B1 to deplete its Droid Battalion stacks, removing the enemy squad’s passive healing engine.
- General Grievous: Leave Grievous for last. General Kenobi must absorb Grievous's high-damage hits while Shaak Ti cleanses debuffs. Once isolated, hit Grievous with heavy stacks of Courage from Anakin and Padmé.
---
Tier 3: Anakin’s Eta-2 Dogfight
Tier 3 is a scripted aerial encounter controlling Anakin Skywalker’s Eta-2 Jedi Starfighter.
- Apply Buff Immunity using Anakin's basic attack on critical hits to prevent Vulture Droids from gaining momentum.
- Prioritize targets suffering from Target Lock to maximize burst damage.
- Save Anakin's area-of-effect missile attack for when multiple enemy fighters are weakened or when you need immediate turn meter gains.
- Clear Buzz Droids promptly using defensive maneuvers before hull damage reaches lethal levels.
---
Tier 4: Separatist Droids vs. General Skywalker
Tier 4 pits your Separatist droid squad—Asajj Ventress, B1 Battle Droid, B2 Super Battle Droid, Droideka, and IG-100 MagnaGuard—against General Skywalker and the 501st Clone squad (Rex, Echo, Fives, and ARC Trooper).
Understanding the Kneeling Mechanic
General Skywalker starts with heavy Protection and violent counter-attacks. Dropping his Protection to zero forces him into a kneeling state ("Cover"). While kneeling, Skywalker cannot attack, take turns, or take damage. This gives your droids an opening to damage the 501st Clones directly. Once his Protection regenerates, Skywalker stands back up, and your team must focus him down again.
Target Selection and the Fives Failure Point
- Never kill any Clone before Fives. If Rex, Echo, or ARC Trooper dies first, Fives sacrifices himself via Tactical Awareness, granting his massive speed, health, and defense stats to all surviving Clones. This almost always results in a defeat.
- Deplete Skywalker’s Protection: Use Droideka’s Charged ability while under Damage Immunity to bypass defense and force Skywalker into Cover.
- Target Fives during the first kneel: Direct all single-target attacks onto Fives until he is defeated. If Skywalker stands back up before Fives falls, immediately refocus Skywalker to force another kneel.
- Mop up remaining Clones: Once Fives is dead, spend subsequent kneel windows defeating Echo, ARC Trooper, and Rex (in that order).
- Finish Skywalker: When all four Clones are dead, Skywalker can no longer enter Cover and can be eliminated directly.

Stat Priorities and Modding Benchmarks
Beating Tiers 2 and 4 requires hitting key defensive and offensive stat checks on your primary units.
| Character | Recommended Sets | Key Primaries | Role in Encounter |
|---|---|---|---|
| Padmé Amidala | Health / Health | Speed, Health % | Generates Protection Up and builds Courage stacks. |
| General Kenobi | Health / Defense | Health %, Protection % | Sustains taunt uptime; absorbs Grievous's opening attacks. |
| B1 Battle Droid | Speed / Offense | Speed, Flat Offense | Needs 260+ Speed to feed turn meter and heal the team. |
| Droideka | Offense / Health | Offense %, Protection % | Maximizes true damage on assists to strip Skywalker's Protection. |
| IG-100 MagnaGuard | Tenacity / Defense | Protection %, Tenacity | High Tenacity prevents stuns from 501st opening attacks. |
