To reliably clear Tier 1 of the Supreme Leader Kylo Ren event in Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes, run a Kylo Ren (Unmasked) lead and use General Hux to prevent the Resistance squad from gaining bonus Turn Meter. Each entry attempt costs 15 Dark Side Currency, so protecting your tickets requires manual play, strict cooldown management in Wave 1, and immediate crowd control on elite damage dealers in Wave 2.
Recommended Squad Composition and Roles
The most consistent team pairs durability with fast Turn Meter generation and continuous debuff control. Mod First Order Officer with your highest speed secondaries so your squad takes the opening action.
| Unit | Primary Battle Role | Key Mod Priorities |
|---|---|---|
| Kylo Ren (Unmasked) | Leader, taunting tank, stun control | Health, Defense, Speed |
| General Hux | Turn Meter control, squad assist caller | High Speed, Survivability |
| Sith Trooper | Area-of-effect damage, assist attacks | Offense, Critical Chance, Critical Damage |
| First Order Officer | Turn Meter manipulation, cleanse, Offense Up | Maximum Speed, Potency |
| Kylo Ren (or FO Executioner) | Secondary stun, Turn Meter cycling, DoTs | Speed, Offense, Health |
Kylo Ren (Unmasked) grants the team bonus speed, defense, and health/protection recovery when status effects expire or are gained. General Hux acts as the encounter's engine: as long as Hux has Advantage, enemies cannot gain bonus Turn Meter, neutralizing the Resistance squad's core offensive momentum. Sith Trooper supplies the damage necessary to quickly eliminate exposed threats through passive assist triggers and area-of-effect bursts.
Wave 1 Strategy and Cooldown Management
Wave 1 features standard Resistance units. Use this round to eliminate threats quickly, then spend the final turns refreshing your key abilities before transitioning.
- Pass the first turn: Use First Order Officer's "Marching Orders" to give General Hux 100% Turn Meter and Advantage.
- Call a mass assist: Use Hux's "Deceptive Ploy" to call the squad to assist, immediately removing a primary Resistance attacker.
- Passive chip damage: Allow Sith Trooper's unique passive to damage surrounding enemies whenever allies critically hit or use special abilities.
- Stall for cooldowns: When only one enemy remains, switch entirely to standard basic attacks. Allow Kylo Ren (Unmasked) to absorb incoming hits while his passive restores his health and protection.
Do not eliminate the final enemy until First Order Officer's "Marching Orders" and General Hux's swarm assist are fully off cooldown.
Wave 2 Target Priority and Execution
Wave 2 introduces elite Resistance enemies capable of dealing heavy burst damage and applying Expose debuffs.
- Apply immediate stun: Target the highest-damage enemy attacker immediately with Kylo Ren (Unmasked)'s "Halt" or the original Kylo Ren's stun to stop their opening burst.
- Focus single targets: Eliminate enemies one by one rather than spreading damage across multiple foes. Removing combatants rapidly reduces incoming attacks and prevents frontline collapse.
- Deploy area burst: Cast Sith Trooper's "Resurgent Onslaught" while he has Advantage to strip enemy protection and soften secondary targets.
- Cycle Turn Meter: Use First Order Officer to cleanse any debuffs, grant Offense Up, and pass turns directly to Hux or Sith Trooper.
Managing the Advantage Mechanic
Maintaining the Advantage buff on General Hux is the central success condition of Tier 1.
If Hux takes direct damage and loses Advantage, the Resistance team can chain bonus Turn Meter and overwhelm your squad. Keep Kylo Ren (Unmasked) taunting to absorb attacks away from Hux. If Hux loses the buff, immediately reapply it using First Order Officer's turn grant or Hux's own abilities. Keeping Advantage active across the team also increases Sith Trooper’s assist rate and resets his area attack cooldown when targets fall.
Execution Rules to Protect Event Tickets
- Never use Auto combat: The automated AI wastes crucial special abilities on weakened Wave 1 targets, leaving your team vulnerable to immediate burst damage at the start of Wave 2.
- Maintain mod speed checks: If First Order Officer or General Hux fails to outspeed the opening Resistance wave, adjust your mods to increase speed secondaries before launching another 15-ticket attempt.
