State of Survival: How to Switch Back to Classic UI and Save Presets

In State of Survival patch v1.18.70.2702, you can revert from the new 3D settlement and wilderness interface back to the classic layout early by completing your daily tasks for seven total days. If you do not meet this requirement, the option to switch back remains locked until April 16.

Additionally, if your custom march presets are not saving under the new interface, you must dispatch your troops on an active march once to lock in the configuration.

How to Unlock and Toggle the Classic UI

The v1.18.70.2702 update automatically defaults your settlement and wilderness view to a 3D presentation. You do not have to wait until April 16 to restore the previous layout if you clear your daily mission milestones.

To switch back to the classic interface:

1. Complete Daily Tasks: Finish your settlement's daily missions each day until you have cleared seven full days of tasks.
2. Open Settings: Tap your Chief Profile icon, then open the game Settings menu.
3. Switch UI Style: Locate the interface style setting and select the classic UI option to return to the legacy 2D view.

How to Fix and Save March Presets

In version 1.18.70.2702, march formation presets do not register if you only adjust the sliders and close the menu. Exiting the settlement view without deploying troops causes the formation slot to revert to its previous settings.

To force the game to save your troop ratios and hero lineups:

1. Open your march deployment window or rally screen.
2. Configure your heroes and adjust your infantry, rider, and hunter troop counts.
3. Assign the lineup to your chosen preset slot.
4. Immediately dispatch that march out of your base to an active target, such as a resource node or infected enemy on the wilderness map.
5. Allow the march to leave your settlement gate so the server confirms the deployment.

Once the march deploys, your customized formation will remain saved in that preset slot for future rallies and gathering runs.
