Build post-buff Praha (Water Oracle) on Despair and Nemesis to counter buff-heavy and immunity-reliant compositions in Summoners War World Arena (RTA). Her updated kit provides area-of-effect buff removal through Predicted Future alongside emergency sustain through Daydream. By pairing high Speed with near-capped Critical Rate, Praha frequently cycles her own Attack Bar, turning opposing setup turns into counterattack windows.

Despair is Praha's essential four-piece set. It adds crowd-control utility to her multi-hit basic attack and her area strip. Nemesis is the primary two-piece choice to cut in against fast cleaves and aggressive openers, allowing her to interrupt enemy rotations with a team heal or strip.

If you face debuff-heavy control rather than fast cleaves, swap Nemesis for Will to ensure Praha takes her first turn reliably. A high-speed Swift set can catch opponents off guard in turn-one contests, but it sacrifices the repeating stun pressure that Despair delivers across drawn-out matches. For Artifact properties, prioritize Skill 2 Accuracy to guarantee strips, followed by Skill 3 Recovery bonuses and Skill 1 Critical Damage.

Drafting Strategy and Matchups

Praha is most effective as a late counter-pick in rounds three or four when your opponent commits to defensive buffers. She hard-counters units that stack multiple team buffs, particularly Laima, Woosa, and Bastet.

  • The Laima Matchup: Laima relies on invincibility, recovery, and cleansing. Praha flips this advantage because Predicted Future strips those buffs and converts each one into Continuous Damage, turning heavy defensive preparation into immediate damage against the enemy team.
  • The Juno Core: Pairing Praha with Juno forms a dual-Oracle core. Juno absorbs and cleanses debuffs while punishing enemy buffs with passive damage, while Praha removes immunity and sustains allies through attrition.
  • Bruiser and Striker Complements: Run Praha alongside units like Moore for speed control and secondary stripping, or durable bruisers like Camilla, Chow, Dominic, and Mei Hou Wang (Fire Monkey) who thrive once enemy buffs are cleared.
  • When to Avoid Praha: Do not blind-pick Praha in rounds one or two. Dedicated single-target lockdown and cooldown-reset monsters such as Oliver, Cheongpung, and Seara can shut her down before she casts Predicted Future or Daydream.

Turn Order and Skill Timing

Mastering Praha requires disciplined cooldown management during match turning points:

  1. Hold Predicted Future for enemy buffs: Do not waste Skill 2 on naked targets for minor damage. Wait until the opponent casts their major immunity and shield spells so you can convert multiple buffs into Continuous Damage stacks and strip protection for your allies.
  2. Cycle with Passing Mountain: Skill 1 strikes three times and awards 15% Attack Bar per critical hit (up to 45% per turn). Target neutral or defense-broken units to cycle Praha's turns quickly, lap slower bruisers, and trigger Despair stuns.
  3. Manage the Daydream sleep penalty: Daydream heals the entire team for 50% of Praha's HP, but it puts her to sleep for one turn. Cast it when an allied cleanser moves next, when incoming damage is low, or when incoming hits will wake her naturally. Avoid using Daydream if high-threat enemy damage dealers move immediately next and can eliminate her while she is disabled.
