The central loop combines exploration, camp development, recruitment, and defense. The game also extends its strategy into multiplayer through Clans. You can cooperate with players around the world using built-in translation tools, exchange help through Clan features, manage and customize the Clan, and expand its territory as your group becomes more influential. On PC, a larger display gives you more room to examine your camp, survey explored regions, and keep track of territory, survivor assignments, and nearby Walker threats without constantly losing sight of the wider situation. Keyboard and mouse input also suit repeated management tasks: the mouse can make it easier to select individual survivors, buildings, exploration destinations, or Clan controls precisely, while the keyboard provides a comfortable way to move through menus and handle frequent planning actions.
