Wait for enemies to bunch together before using an area-of-effect hero skill in Tiny War: Kingdom Defense. If your frontline is close to collapsing, use the skill sooner to handle the immediate threat rather than holding it for a larger group.
Time skills around the wave
An area skill can hit more enemies when they are clustered than when they are spread out. Watch the wave and use the ability once several enemies gather within its effective area.
Keep the skill’s cooldown in mind when deciding whether to spend it. If your units are taking heavy damage or enemies are about to break through, prioritize survival over waiting for an ideal cluster.
