To win the six-day Alliance Duel in Top Lords, your alliance must hoard progression items and spend them exclusively on their designated theme days while maximizing Academy duel multipliers. Winning four out of the six daily rounds secures the weekly duel victory. Spending resources outside active scoring categories awards zero duel points and wastes progression assets.
Alliance Duel Weekly Schedule
Alliance Duel pits two alliances against each other over six 24-hour stages. Each day awards points for specific kingdom development tasks.
| Duel Day | Primary Scoring Activities | Key Execution Strategy |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1: Gathering & Radar | Resource gathering, radar missions, exploration | Recall high-tier gathering marches immediately after reset |
| Day 2: City Construction | Structural completions, building speedups | Time multi-day Town Hall upgrades to finish on this day |
| Day 3: Tech Research | Academy completions, research speedups | Complete long military research projects with speedups |
| Day 4: Hero Growth | Recruitment tokens, hero shards, EXP, skill manuals | Open all stockpiled recruitment chests and apply hero items |
| Day 5: Troop Training | Training fresh units, unit promotions, training speedups | Promote lower-tier units instead of training from level 1 |
| Day 6: Enemy Buster | PvP eliminations, mixed speedup consumption | Coordinate rallies against opposing bases and burn remaining items |
Prioritize Alliance Duel Academy Research
Before consuming large stockpiles of speedups or tokens, invest in the Alliance Duel research branch at the Academy. Operating without duel tech creates a permanent point deficit against prepared opponents.
- Unlock Category Multipliers: Prioritize the specific nodes that grant flat percentage point increases for each daily theme before using high-value consumables.
- Open Higher Milestone Chests: Advanced research nodes unlock access to milestone Chests 6 through 9. These higher tiers contain the event's highest yields of legendary shards, speedups, and resources.
- Passive War Buffs: Later duel tech nodes provide combat and gathering speed enhancements that take effect during duel stages, strengthening your alliance during Day 6 combat.
Daily Resource Execution and Hoarding
Consistent wins require staggering your project timers across the week rather than upgrading on demand.
Days 1 to 3: Gathering, Construction, and Tech
- Gathering Timing: Send marches to level 6 or higher resource nodes several hours before the Day 1 reset. Time their return or recall them just after the new duel day activates to claim immediate gathering points. Save radar mission refreshes until the day goes live.
- Pre-Queued Timers: Start lengthy Town Hall or building upgrades days in advance so their completion timers align naturally with Day 2.
- Research Staggering: Queue expensive Academy combat tech to finish on Day 3. Use alliance help requests before consuming research speedups to maximize point efficiency.
Days 4 to 6: Heroes, Training, and Combat
- Hero Hoarding: Store every recruitment token, hero experience item, and skill manual earned throughout the week. Using these outside Day 4 yields normal progression but grants no duel contribution.
- Unit Promotion Efficiency: On Day 5, promote existing lower-tier troops (such as Tier 3 to Tier 4, or Tier 4 to Tier 5) rather than training new units from scratch. Promotions yield duel points for substantially less training time and resource investment per point.
- Tactical Holds on Day 6: Day 6 combines PvP combat with points from general speedups. If an opposing alliance secures an insurmountable lead early on a single day, instruct all members to stop burning speedups once they reach their personal milestone chest minimums. Save the remaining resources to guarantee wins on the remaining matchup days.
