You do not need to chat with other players or compete in weekly races to receive the resource benefits of a Co-op in Township. Once you reach Level 19 and repair the Co-op Building, you can join a low-pressure group strictly to exchange goods and earn House of Luck clovers on your own schedule.

Joining a Co-op allows you to request missing goods from other members every few hours to fill train orders, supply factories, or feed animals. Donating items to fill your teammates' requests rewards you with coins, experience points, and clovers. Clovers fund plays in the House of Luck, which awards building materials, mining tools, coupons, and T-Cash.

Finding and Joining a Silent Co-op

To enjoy item exchanges without social conversation, target Co-ops created specifically for quiet or solo players.

  1. Open your repaired Co-op Building and select the search tab.
  2. Search for keywords such as Silent, No Chat, Casual, Quiet, or Solo.
  3. Check the Entry Type. Choose groups set to Open so you can enter immediately without waiting for leader approval.
  4. Read the Description. Look for groups that state "No chat required," "Exchange only," or "Regatta optional." Avoid groups that list mandatory task quotas or external Discord links.
  5. Inspect the Member List. Look for healthy weekly help counts. High help numbers paired with an empty chat log indicate an active, functional exchange group.

There is no penalty for leaving a Co-op. If a group leader demands greetings or social interaction in the chat, leave the group and search for another.

Disabling Regatta Participation

Competitive Regatta events are the main source of friction in active Co-ops. When a member is enrolled in the Regatta but does not complete tasks, the Co-op's leaderboard score drops. You can opt out entirely while keeping all regular item exchange features:

  1. Open the game Settings menu.
  2. Select Additional Settings.
  3. Uncheck the box labeled Take part in seasonal Regattas.

Unchecking this box removes your account from the active racing roster for upcoming cycles. The game adjusts your Co-op's matchmaking tier to match only participating racers, ensuring your inactivity does not harm your team's score. You still retain full access to requesting items, donating goods, and earning clovers.

Silent Request and Donation Etiquette

You can maintain good standing in a silent Co-op without typing by following balanced exchange habits.

ActionRecommended PracticePractice to Avoid
Requesting GoodsAsk for base crops, simple bakery/dairy products, or mining ore.Asking repeatedly for complex products with long factory timers.
Filling RequestsDonate surplus crops, bread, and fast goods to earn clovers.Depleting essential reserves needed for your own upcoming trains.
Sending ThanksTap the automated system like/thank icon on filled requests.Writing manual conversational messages into the chat log.

Creating a One-Player Solo Co-op

If you do not want to join existing groups, you can establish your own Co-op for 1,000 coins.

After founding the Co-op, set the entry status to Closed or By Request and decline incoming applicants. A one-person Co-op lets you participate in Regattas entirely at your own pace against other solo or low-member teams to earn yacht club tokens and reward chests.

The drawback of a solo Co-op is that you have no teammates to fill item requests or provide clovers. If your primary goal is acquiring missing items and farming House of Luck clovers, joining an established silent Co-op is the more effective choice.
