Unlike defensive units that absorb hits at the gate, the archer relies on ranged area damage and constant mobility to eliminate high-threat targets before they reach your fortifications.

Stat and Upgrade Priority

When drafting level-up skills during night waves, prioritize projectile volume and penetration. Single-target damage falls off quickly once enemy density rises; penetration ensures that arrows hit frontline targets and continue through to backline threats.

After securing basic piercing and multi-shot perks, look for elemental status effects like ice or bleed:

• Ice / Chill: Slows the front of the pack, causing trailing monsters to bunch up into dense kill clusters.
