To create a farm account in Viking Rise, tap your Chief avatar, open Settings, select Character Management, and create a new character within your main profile's Kingdom. A farm account acts as a dedicated secondary base to harvest Food, Wood, Stone, and Gold from map nodes, providing your main account with resources for upgrades, research, and troop training without tying up its own march queues.

Setting Up a Farm Character

Viking Rise allows multiple characters on a single login, so you do not need to uninstall the app or log out of your primary account.

  1. Tap your Chief avatar in the top-left corner of the screen.
  2. Select the Settings gear icon on the lower-right side of your profile menu.
  3. Tap Character Management (or Account/Character Settings).
  4. Tap Create New Character.

After starting character creation, complete the required opening tutorial sequence and initial base clearing. Once control is unlocked, you can switch between your main Chief and your farm profiles instantly through the Character Management menu.

Kingdom Verification and Account Binding

A farm account must be located in the exact same Kingdom as your main account to deliver resources. Check the world map coordinates immediately after completing the opening sequence:

  • Relocation Limit: If the game creates your new Chief on a newer server instead of your main Kingdom, do not upgrade your Chief's Hall past Level 5. Use the beginner relocation items provided to new accounts to jump to your main Kingdom before the level cap disables free migration.
  • Account Binding: Bind your profile to an IGG Account, Google Play, Apple ID, or Facebook to prevent data loss. If you reach the server limit for characters tied to a single login, register a secondary email address to host additional farm profiles.

Progression and Build Priorities

Farm accounts should only be upgraded to maximize gathering speed, march slots, and load capacity. Stop aggressive base upgrades once you reach your target gathering throughput.

  • Chief's Hall Level 11 to 16: Rush building upgrades until your Chief's Hall reaches Level 11 to 16. This unlocks three to four simultaneous march queues, allowing you to harvest multiple nodes at once.
  • Economy Research: Focus your Academy exclusively on the Economy tree. Maximize gathering speed for Food, Lumber, Stone, and Gold, followed by march load capacity. Do not invest resources into combat tech trees.
  • Gathering Heroes: Assign heroes with gathering speed and carry capacity passives to your harvesting marches. Level them only as much as needed to unlock these specific talents.
  • Tier 1 Troops: Train only Tier 1 (T1) units, with an emphasis on Porters and Infantry for high carry capacity. T1 units consume negligible food upkeep, train cheaply, carry heavy loads, and cost minimal resources to heal if attacked.

Transferring Resources to Your Main Account

You can transfer accumulated supplies from your farm account to your main account using either the Tribe Trading Post or controlled base plundering.

Method 1: Tribe Trading Post Transport

Transporting resources through your Tribe is the safest option. Place both accounts into the same Tribe, or create an auxiliary Tribe for your farm accounts.

  1. Locate your main account on the map or select it from your Tribe member roster.
  2. Tap the Trading Post and choose the transport option.
  3. Select the resource types and amounts to send, then dispatch your transport wagons.

The game applies a tax fee on transferred goods. Upgrading the Trading Post on your farm account reduces this tax rate, preserving more materials per delivery.

Method 2: Controlled Base Plundering

If you need to bypass transport march limits or cannot place both accounts in the same Tribe, your main base can attack your farm directly:

  1. Empty the farm's defenses by dispatching all troops to distant gathering nodes or reinforcing a shielded ally's base.
  2. Unequip any defensive heroes stationed on the farm's wall garrison.
  3. Relocate the farm base near your main account outside safe zones.
  4. Attack the farm base with your main account's high-capacity marches until its unprotected inventory is drained.

Always confirm that zero defender units remain in the farm base before attacking to avoid filling your Infirmary or spending resources on troop healing.

Daily Routine for Multiple Farms

To keep multiple farm accounts efficient without wasting time, run a focused maintenance cycle twice a day:

  1. Log into the farm profile and collect passive city production buildings.
  2. Claim finished Economy research in the Academy and queue the next gathering upgrade.
  3. Dispatch all march queues to nearby high-level nodes, preferably within your Tribe's territory for increased gathering speed and security.
  4. Offload surplus storage to your main account via the Trading Post or controlled raiding once your storage reaches target transfer thresholds.
