About the Official Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest PC Client
Developer: Tilting Point LLC
Your fortress is the center of the progression loop. Structures such as the Chaos Temple, Sorcerer’s Citadel, Fortress Walls, Watchtower, Warlord Conclave, Workshop, Daemonic Forge, Hell Cannons, Dungeons, and Training Grounds expand what your warband can do and help increase its overall power. Resource buildings are equally important: upgrading the Lumber Mill, Blast Furnace, Slaughter Pens, and Quarry gives you more capacity to support construction and military development. Researching Skills broadens your military, battle, and unholy might, while raising a Champion worthy of becoming Everchosen gives your long-term development a clear leadership focus. On PC, a larger display makes it easier to keep your fortress layout, available upgrades, construction requirements, and surrounding realm visible while deciding what to improve next. Keyboard-and-mouse input also suits the repeated management involved in moving between buildings, checking progression, and handling the many decisions that keep an expanding stronghold supplied.
The warband itself is built through collection and strategic composition. You can collect Warlords as powerful soldiers, along with more than 20 Daemons of Chaos and 10 warriors of Chaos, then assemble a diverse force suited to the defenses and objectives in front of you. Training includes recognizable units such as Marauders, Forsaken, Chaos Warriors, and Chaos Chosen, while your dungeons can house creatures including Chaos Spawn, Slaughter Brutes, mutalith vortex beasts, and dragon ogres. Warhounds, Chimera, and Gorebeasts add another group of Warhammer creatures to corral. These systems make army development more than a single upgrade track: your choices determine which soldiers, monsters, and leaders are available when you march into the realm. A PC monitor is useful when comparing the composition of a warband and reading the information needed to choose an appropriate force, while precise mouse control helps when selecting targets, issuing marches, and moving through the game’s various management screens.
Conflict takes place through several connected activities. You can hunt roaming beasts, send warriors on marches to pillage goods from the land, and siege other players’ fortresses to disrupt their plans of conquest. Daily challenges offer guaranteed rewards and leaderboard-based bonuses, and daily quests provide a way to collect warpstone. Special events broaden the opposition with roaming warbands from factions such as greenskins, beastmen, and dwarfs. The multiplayer layer is not limited to attacking enemies. Joining an alliance lets you coordinate assaults on landmarks important to the Empire, share in alliance spoils, speed up an ally’s Chaos Fortress construction, and send troops to reinforce a fellow player’s defense. You can also receive warriors from allies, complete Trials alone or with your alliance, and gather to take major landmarks across the Old World. World chat adds a social space for discussing battle results, including with the enemies you have just fought.
Finally, alliances can pledge themselves to Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch, or Slaanesh, giving the campaign a further connection to the four Chaos Gods. Building temples to these powers reflects the different themes of bloodshed, disease and decay, magic and change, or pride and decadence while supporting the game’s broader fantasy-lore focus. Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest on PC is therefore shaped by the relationship between fortress management, collection, marching armies, player-versus-player sieges, alliance coordination, and the gradual pursuit of Altdorf. The larger screen and responsive keyboard-and-mouse controls are especially valuable when you are balancing resource upgrades against military needs, planning a march or siege, and coordinating several parts of your warband and alliance at once.
