Your long-term objective is to assemble and strengthen a dedicated lineup, survive increasingly demanding encounters, and leave behind your own legacy as you push through Tya’s many battlefields. The central loop begins with collecting and upgrading more than 170 heroes drawn from 10 different factions. Rare Lord Heroes add another layer to that process through exclusive Lord Skills that buff an entire faction, making them especially relevant when you are shaping a lineup around shared faction strengths. During battles, timing matters as you defend your position and activate ultimate skills, AOE and magic damage, and healing spells with precision. On PC, a larger display makes it easier to read the battlefield, follow enemy movement, inspect hero abilities, and distinguish the information you need while several effects or units are active. Keyboard-and-mouse input is also useful when moving through maps and menus, comparing heroes and their equipment, and managing repeated collection and upgrade actions without losing track of your lineup.

Progression extends beyond hero levels. Dungeon levels provide rare resources, while gear, artifacts, and legendary skill dust let you improve hero attributes and gain an advantage in later challenges. You can also reinforce your camp and explore multiple game modes rather than treating the campaign as the only destination. Boss-focused activities include Guild Boss, Void Rift, and Immortal Codex, with threats such as Epic Dragons, Mighty Golems, The Undying Bull, The Lord of Styx, and The Conquerer offering distinct targets for developed teams. These modes give upgraded heroes and carefully planned faction combinations a clear purpose, while their treasure rewards support further strengthening. For players who want competition against other commanders, Watcher of Realms includes a massive multiplayer PvP component with an original tower defense PvP mode, multiple PvP themes, and player rankings to climb. That gives the collection loop a social and competitive outlet: campaign stages and dungeons help develop your roster, boss modes test its sustained strength, and PvP asks you to apply your strategic choices against other players.
