Your immediate goal is to build a Freshwater Plant and a Fishing Chair, securing steady streams of drinkable water and raw fish before scaling up to advanced structures.

Early Survival Facility Setup

Your early gameplay revolves around establishing basic sustenance while scavenging materials from the sea.

1. Harvest Debris: Collect floating wood and scrap from the ocean to accumulate building materials.
2. Build a Freshwater Plant: Construct this facility first to generate drinkable water passively. Converting ocean water removes reliance on consumable drops and opens inventory space previously used for water storage.
3. Build a Fishing Chair: Set up a Fishing Chair to gather raw fish. Unlike the automated water plant, using the Fishing Chair requires active player time. Spend time fishing during downtime between ocean scavenging sessions.
4. Prepare Sashimi: Combine your harvested fish and water at cooking stations to craft Sashimi. Cooked meals provide higher health and stamina recovery than raw ingredients, making longer expeditions easier to sustain.

Base Layout and Command Center Placement

Upgrading to the Freshwater Factory
