To complete the Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 main story quest, Season 3 Chapter 3 - "Their Secret Histories", follow the primary quest markers to uncover narrative revelations regarding Serpico and Sunbringer, then complete the final dialogue confrontations.
Narrative Revelations in Chapter 3
"Their Secret Histories" introduces major plot shifts that alter character relationships in New Eridu:
- Serpico's True Identity: The quest confirms that Serpico is a Youkai. This revelation accounts for his distinct abilities and detached behavior during earlier human conflicts, causing surrounding NPCs to treat him with increased wariness.
- Sunbringer's Hidden History: The story exposes that Sunbringer's public standing relies on misinformation about his past. Uncovering these records shifts the relationship between Sunbringer and the player's faction from initial cooperation to political confrontation.
Recommended Steps for Quest Progression
- Advance Main Story Objectives: Follow the designated Chapter 3 mission markers to unlock story cutscenes and dialogue sequences.
- Gather Lore Intel: Pick up optional lore items during story stages to gain full background on Sunbringer's past actions.
- Track Faction Responses: Pay attention to dialogue shifts from non-player characters as news of Serpico's species and Sunbringer's exposed past spreads.
- Complete the Final Dialogue: Select your responses during the ultimate confrontation with Sunbringer to resolve the chapter's main story arc.
