Securing wild creatures passively saves resources and avoids high-risk encounters with agile or high-level targets.

Managing Detection Zones and Alert States

Every wild creature in Aniimo maintains an awareness radius that dictates when it switches from a neutral state to fleeing or attacking.

• Stealth Crouch: Activating the stealth-crouch stance narrows your character's detection footprint. Watch the on-screen indicator as you close in; it will pulse or change color as you reach the outer edge of a creature's awareness boundary.
• Standing Alert Threshold: Approaching a rare target while standing upright triggers its alert zone immediately. High-agility creatures will often flee as soon as this threshold is crossed.
• Visual Alert Cues: Track the creature's head movements. If a target halts its idle animation and turns directly toward your position, pause movement immediately to avoid tripping full aggression.
• Height Advantage: Approaching from high rocks, cliffs, or elevated ledges bypasses horizontal detection radii entirely, allowing you to plan a drop from above or aim capture tools from outside the target's line of sight.
