To defeat boss encounters in Bloons Blitz, adapt your movement paths to each boss's firing profile and hold high-pierce burst abilities for spawn phases rather than expending them on outer armor. Each boss punishes specific movement errors, requiring distinct positioning and skill timing.
Mechanical Foes: M.O.A.R. and C.T.R.L.
M.O.A.R. tests whether your hero and towers deal enough single-target damage to break outer plating before you get cornered. Never retreat in a straight line when M.O.A.R. charges forward. Instead, run along wide perimeter orbits. Moving in a continuous circle forces the boss into repeated re-aiming animations, substantially reducing the accuracy and rate of its frontal assault cones.
C.T.R.L. focuses on area denial and battlefield disruption rather than direct projectile chases. Counter C.T.R.L. by controlling space:
- Stay near the map's mid-ring instead of hugging outer boundaries so you maintain multiple escape routes.
- Watch for wind-up animations and strafe outward immediately before zone attacks trigger.
- Fire burst cooldowns during C.T.R.L.'s recovery window immediately following a displacement attack, when its tracking briefly stops.
Radial Hazards: O.R.B.
O.R.B. covers the arena in expanding circular bullet patterns and floating hazards. Never rush in close for point-blank attacks, as projectile density is tightest near the boss's chassis.
Maintain a consistent mid-range distance from O.R.B. at all times. At mid-range, the bullet rings spread out into readable gaps that require only minor directional adjustments to dodge. Save dash skills for emergency escapes rather than aggressive repositioning. When standard Bloons spawn alongside O.R.B., divert secondary attacks or splash tools to clear the swarm so you avoid chip damage while keeping primary single-target fire on the boss.
Speed and Swarms: Wild Zebra and Super Ceramic
High-velocity bosses require crowd control and burst timing rather than standard perimeter kiting.
Wild Zebra
Wild Zebra uses sudden acceleration cycles that close distance instantly and cut off standard running routes:
- Place slowing effects or hazard zones directly in its forward path to interrupt speed surges.
- Avoid wide flanking arcs unless your hero has active movement speed buffs.
- Focus primary fire on stripping its outer shield quickly to expose its base health pool.
Super Ceramic
The Super Ceramic acts as a durable ram that absorbs heavy single-target fire. Its primary danger triggers once its ceramic shell shatters, releasing dense waves of high-speed child bloons. Save your high-pierce abilities, explosives, and ultimate skills for the exact moment the shell breaks to clear the resulting swarm before it overwhelms the arena.
Airship Bosses: M.O.A.B. and B.F.B.
Blimp-class encounters test sustained damage output and cooldown management over extended fights.
| Boss | Movement & Durability | Primary Tactic | Spawn Threat |
|---|---|---|---|
| M.O.A.B. | Slow advance, large health pool | Sustained single-target armor shredding | Releases multiple Ceramic Bloons upon destruction |
| B.F.B. | Very slow pace, massive hull durability | Steady basic attacks on hull; hold ultimates for the split | Ruptures into multiple M.O.A.B. units |
When fighting the B.F.B., do not fire high-cooldown ultimates into the intact outer hull. Doing so leaves your build without answers when the hull ruptures into multiple M.O.A.B.s. Use standard hero attacks and continuous tower fire to grind down the main health bar, then trigger area burst skills to eliminate the spawned airships.
