Hundreds of Bloons can appear across action-packed encounters, creating a combat loop based on movement, positioning, rapid reactions, and smart choices rather than a single fixed mission structure. Each Hero brings a signature weapon and a distinct gameplay style, giving you a reason to experiment with different approaches instead of treating every run identically. You can also recruit favorite Monkeys to join your team, then unlock their unique weapons and upgrades as you progress. That combination of a lead Hero and supporting Monkeys gives the game a clear team-building layer alongside its immediate survivor-style combat.

The most important decisions arrive between bursts of action, when you select upgrades and determine how your run develops. Bloons Blitz lets you unlock different powers according to your choices, so you can make your Monkeys versatile generalists or commit to a deeper single path in pursuit of powerful epic weapons. That decision-based structure makes each level more than a test of endurance: it is also an exercise in building a coherent attack plan from the options that appear. Across roguelike levels on an infinite map, you can discover unique encounters, collect power-ups, and face epic boss fights, while special rules and challenges give replayed levels a different objective or constraint. Long-term progression comes from finding rare collectible toys that level up your Heroes and unlock game-changing upgrades, as well as collecting stickers that empower your team with special boosts. On PC, the larger display makes it easier to follow crowded Bloon waves, read combat information, spot power-ups and encounters, and keep track of the action during boss fights.
