To clear wild Bigshot packs in Botworld Adventure without taking damage, deploy Chainer, Halo, and Mort together to compress, shield, and bombard the enemy squad before they can fire. Bigshots rely on range and slow, heavy burst attacks; grouping them instantly interrupts their targeting and allows artillery splash damage to wipe them simultaneously.
Deployment Setup and Execution Order
Positioning determines whether this combination succeeds. Halo must be close enough to shield Chainer without walking, and Mort must remain far enough back to avoid stray targeting.
- Place Chainer in the central lane. Position Chainer directly opposite the largest concentration of Bigshots so the pull catches the primary threats immediately.
- Place Halo adjacent to Chainer. Halo must be within immediate barrier range. If Halo has to walk forward to reach Chainer, the shield will trigger too late to absorb the pack's opening counterattack.
- Place Mort on the back perimeter edge. Keep Mort deep in your backline to give him an unobstructed firing arc and keep him outside the range of any unpulled targets.
- Trigger Chainer's pull. Chainer hooks the spread-out Bigshots, canceling their initial cannon charging animations and dragging them onto a single tile.
- Absorb retaliatory fire with Halo's barrier. As the Bigshots recover at Chainer's feet, Halo's shield activates, soaking up their point-blank basic attacks.
- Drop Mort's bombardment onto the clump. Mort's high-arc mortar shells land on the clustered Bigshots, eliminating the entire pack in one to two volleys while Halo's shield remains active.
Squad Roles and Synergy
Each bot covers a specific timing window to neutralize the Bigshots before your team absorbs hull damage.
| Bot | Class Role | Tactical Function |
|---|---|---|
| Chainer | Frontline Disrupter | Hooks separated ranged enemies, disrupts firing cycles, and clusters hitboxes onto one point. |
| Halo | Defensive Support | Immediately casts a damage-absorption barrier over Chainer to neutralize point-blank retaliatory hits. |
| Mort | Long-Range Splasher | Delivers high-yield area-of-effect mortar strikes directly onto the clustered enemy hitboxes. |
Mort's primary drawback is slow projectile travel time, which allows mobile or dispersed enemies to walk out of the blast zone. Chainer's pull removes this issue by locking targets into Mort's designated impact point. Halo removes the risk of pulling lethal ranged attackers directly into your frontline by neutralizing their opening hits.
Botpack Ability Timing and Recovery
Botpack abilities provide insurance against uneven enemy spawns or stragglers that escape Chainer's initial reach.
- Isolate unchained Bigshots: If an enemy bot spawns too far wide for Chainer's hook to reach, spend initial Botpack energy on crowd control—such as a stun, freeze, or push—to disable that unit until Mort's second shell lands.
- Accelerate the kill window: If all targets are successfully pulled into the cluster, spend Botpack energy on damage boosters or direct offensive strikes on the pile. Accelerating Mort's kill speed prevents the Bigshots from launching a second attack cycle after Halo's shield wears off.
- Avoid front-row clutter: Do not place Mort near the center or frontline. Even when Bigshots are pulled, stray mortar shots or untargeted splash attacks will hit Mort if he is positioned near Chainer's landing zone. Keep Mort strictly on the back edge of the deployment grid.
