To clear Level 92 in CubeAway, dismantle the unobstructed exterior arrows along the two outer towers before attempting to tap blocks inside the congested central gap. The stage forms a dense U-shape consisting of two upright pillars joined at the base, with inward-pointing arrows trapped in the narrow space between them. Removing the outer blocks first clears exit trajectories for the inward-facing blocks, preventing collisions and move penalties.
Inspecting the U-Shape Structure
Before tapping any cubes, rotate the puzzle 360 degrees to identify which blocks have clear flight paths:
- Outer Pillar Flanks: The exterior faces point outward into open space and have zero trajectory obstacles.
- Top Caps: Upward-pointing blocks on the column peaks have unobstructed vertical paths.
- Inner Trench: Inward-pointing arrows face the opposing pillar wall, making them impassable until that pillar's depth is reduced.
- Bottom Connector: Base arrows point downward or along the horizontal axis, anchored under the weight of both columns.
Tapping central blocks early causes immediate collisions against the opposing pillar walls. The solution sequence relies on peeling away outer layers to make the inner blocks movable.
Step 1: Strip the Outer Towers
Reduce the thickness of both vertical pillars to open flight paths through the structure:
- Tap the upward arrows resting on the very top of both towers to clear vertical space.
- Rotate to the outer left wall and tap all left-facing arrows pointing away from the model.
- Spin 180 degrees to the outer right wall and tap all right-facing arrows exiting into open air.
- Inspect the front and back seams of both towers, tapping any forward- or backward-pointing cubes with open lanes.
Stripping these outer shells reduces each thick column to a single-block-wide frame, clearing an exit route for blocks inside the center.
Step 2: Clear the Central Gap
With the outer walls removed, address the tightly packed blocks between the two columns from top to bottom.
| Trench Section | Primary Arrow Directions | Prerequisite Clearance |
|---|---|---|
| Upper Gap | Upward and outward | Pillar top caps removed |
| Mid Trench | Lateral (left and right) | Outer pillar walls removed |
| Base Junction | Inward and downward | Both pillars reduced to baseline |
Begin at the top of the central gap by tapping all upward-facing arrows, which now have open sky above them. Next, look through the resulting gaps to locate lateral arrows pointing toward the sides. Because the exterior pillar walls are gone, these lateral arrows can now pass freely through the empty column footprints without colliding.
Step 3: Dismantle the Base Bridge
Once the upright pillars and center gap are cleared, only the bottom connector bar remains:
- Tilt the puzzle upward to view the underside of the model.
- Tap downward-pointing arrows to clear the bottom layer into open space below.
- Trace remaining horizontal arrows along the baseline axis. Tap the outermost block pointing away from its neighbor, triggering a sequential exit for the remaining connector blocks.

I wish I had read this before upgrading the wrong thing.
I tried this today and it worked better than my old setup.
This helped me understand strategy much better.
Good guide for CubeAway players. The strategy part was useful.
