Combine the Teleporter, Condenser, and Resource Converter in Dome Keeper to cut vertical travel times and stabilize water and iron income during a Relic Hunt run. Automating water production and converting surplus water into iron funds high-tier Laser Dome upgrades while the upgraded Teleporter sends deep-mine resources back to the base.

Set Up and Upgrade the Teleporter for Deep Mining

The Teleporter places a stationary portal inside your dome and gives you a portable portal to carry into the mine and drop where you are digging. Because the base gadget only transports your Keeper, you must upgrade it to stop hauling minerals up the central shaft manually:

  1. Portal (Base unlock): Enables instant two-way travel between the dome and the dropped portal.
  2. Resource Teleporter (6 Iron, 4 Water): Automatically teleports loose resources placed near the portal up to the dome, one piece at a time.
  3. Faster Teleportation (8 Iron, 4 Water): Reduces the resource teleportation cooldown from 8 seconds to 4 seconds.

Carry the portable portal to a central spot in your current biome layer and drop your mined iron, water, and cobalt directly onto its tile. It will send materials home while you continue strip-mining nearby veins. When an attack wave approaches, step into the portal just before the warning gauge fills to return to your battle station immediately.

Automate Water and Iron with the Condenser and Resource Converter

Pairing the Condenser with the Resource Converter reduces your reliance on finding underground water veins and prevents late-run water surpluses from going to waste.

Gadget or UpgradeCostFunction
Condenser (Base)Gadget unlockPassively produces 1 Water per wave cycle inside the dome.
Overclocking4 Iron, 1 WaterSpends 1 Water to boost Keeper movement speed, drill strength, and laser speed for 1 cycle.
Automatic Water Delivery8 Iron, 2 WaterSends condensed water straight into storage without manual pickup.
Faster Condensation6 Iron, 6 WaterIncreases passive water generation speed.
Resource ConverterSupplemental unlockConverts 1 Water into 3 Iron, or 5 Iron into 1 Water.

Unlock Automatic Water Delivery as soon as you can spare 8 Iron and 2 Water. Without it, the Condenser stops producing until you manually pick up the water drop inside the dome, wasting generation time while you are underground.

Once you add Faster Condensation, feed excess water into the Resource Converter inside the dome whenever you need iron for weapon or drill upgrades. After a brief processing delay, each unit of water yields 3 Iron. If you find plenty of iron early on but lack the 1 or 2 Water required for a key upgrade, use the converter to trade 5 Iron for 1 Water instead.

Grow Underground Seed Trees to Multiply Ores

Small glowing chambers in the middle and lower strata contain seed sprouts that can grow recurring iron, water, or cobalt nodes. Each seed extends a root in the direction it is facing. If you dig out the dirt blocking its path and leave an exposed resource tile in reach, the root attaches to that ore and blooms into a resource tree that periodically grows a harvestable unit of that mineral.

To set up a tree properly:

  • Leave at least one ore tile intact: Do not mine out the final block of an iron or cobalt vein near a sprout, or the root will have nothing to latch onto.
  • Park the Teleporter nearby: Dropping your portal near a grown cobalt or iron tree lets you slice off the regrown mineral with your drill on your way into the mines and drop it straight onto the Resource Teleporter pad.

Laser Dome Upgrade Order for Relic Defense

As waves scale up, fast flyers and tough ranged monsters attack from both sides of the dome at once. Build your Laser Dome upgrades in stages so your defense keeps pace with your mining depth:

  1. Laser Speed 1 (2 Iron) and Laser Strength 1 (4 Iron): Take both early so the beam moves across the dome fast enough to clear small flyers before they chip away your health.
  2. Sightline (2 Iron): Projects a red targeting laser that helps you aim at small, erratic projectiles.
  3. Wither (10 Iron, 2 Water): Slows the movement speed and attack rate of any monster hit by the laser, stalling heavy enemies while the beam burns them down.
  4. Double Laser (16 Iron, 4 Water): Splits the weapon into two beams that move together, increasing total damage output by 50% and widening your hit area against clustered enemies.

The final wave triggers as soon as the giant Relic is hauled into the dome or while it is being dragged up the shaft. Have at least Laser Strength 3 (14 Iron) or Double Laser active before you dig out the Relic chamber at the bottom of the map, and save your cobalt for dome health repairs and shield recharges during the final defense.
