DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE: How to Manage Banner Summons

Stop summoning on a banner in DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE as soon as you pull the main featured headliner or the specific secondary units needed for your team composition. Continuing to spend Dragon Stones on a banner after securing your primary targets yields diminishing returns and drains finite stone reserves needed for future event celebrations.

Next Actions Based on Summon Outcomes

After completing a summon session, base your next steps on whether you obtained your target units:

If you pulled the featured headliner or LR: Stop summoning on the banner immediately and shift to unit development. Level your new unit's Super Attack, unlock its Potential System nodes, and review its leader skill to update your team rotations.
If you pulled key secondary units: Evaluate if your major roster gaps are filled. If the remaining featured units on the banner do not significantly improve your active teams, stop pulling and preserve your remaining stones.
If you did not pull featured units: Stop spending once your remaining Dragon Stone balance hits your predefined minimum budget. Avoid chasing a missing character on low stone reserves, as banner drop rates do not guarantee a headliner regardless of how many multi-summons you perform.

Player highlight reels and shared community summons frequently feature rare multi-SSR pulls or consecutive top-tier drops. Treat these showcase videos as curated best-case scenarios rather than standard statistical expectations.

Recognize curated variance: Shared pull highlights depict statistically lucky outcomes rather than average drop rates across overall summon sessions.
Track total stone investment: Calculate the full Dragon Stone cost required to obtain a specific unit during events like GDC 2026 rather than relying on single multi-summon results as a baseline.
Enforce strict spending limits: Set an absolute Dragon Stone cap before opening any banner menu to avoid spending past your budget during high-profile celebrations.
