Upon reaching level 70 on your Warrior in Eternium, your base character leveling ends and all surplus experience converts directly into account-wide Champion Points. Your immediate next action is to spend your first Champion Points across Offense, Defense, and Utility, salvage all sub-level-70 equipment at the blacksmith, and transition your primary farming loop from the story campaign into fast Trial clears.

Champion Point Allocation Priorities

Champion Points cycle sequentially through Offense, Defense, and Utility categories, requiring balanced point distribution across all three trees. For a newly capped Warrior, allocate your points to address mobility bottlenecks and melee survivability first.

CategoryPrimary Focus StatSecondary Focus StatStrategic Purpose
OffenseHastePower / Critical RatingAccelerates attack animations, increasing rage generation and triggering Life on Hit more frequently.
DefenseArmorLife on Hit / Total LifeProvides flat physical and elemental damage reduction to survive large enemy clusters in melee range.
UtilityMovement SpeedAbility RateMaximizes travel speed between enemy packs; secondary points lower cooldowns for Charge and Whirlwind.

In the Utility tree, put every available point into Movement Speed until it hits its allocation cap. Fast movement significantly lowers stage completion times. Once Movement Speed is capped, shift remaining Utility points into Ability Rate to reduce ability cooldowns.

Gear Transition: Phasing Out Sub-70 Items

All drops from campaign bosses, standard mobs, and Trial chests now drop at the maximum base item level of 70. Level 70 items feature much higher base armor, damage ranges, and primary attribute pools than lower-level gear.

  1. Salvage obsolete gear: Visit the blacksmith in the town hub to salvage mid-game Rare, Epic, and Legendary gear below level 70. Salvaging returns crafting materials such as Iron, Leather, and Mark of the Titans needed for later set crafting.
  2. Equip fresh level 70 drops: Replace under-leveled equipment immediately, even if it means trading an older Legendary for a basic level 70 Rare or Epic weapon. The base weapon damage increase outweighs low-level set bonuses or rolled perks.
  3. Filter desirable stats: Prioritize Power, Haste, Critical Rating, and Critical Damage on weapons, gloves, and jewelry. Target Armor, Vitality, and Life on Hit on chest pieces, pants, and shields.
  4. Utilize gem sockets: Insert cut gemstones into open sockets on level 70 gear to shore up immediate deficiencies in Life on Hit, Armor, or damage stats without waiting for ideal drops.

Story Campaign vs. Trial Farming

If you have not completed the campaign on Normal difficulty, clear the remaining story stages to unlock higher difficulty tiers (Heroic and Legendary) and claim one-time gemstone quest rewards.

Once story progression slows due to enemy health scaling, shift your time into Trials. Trials are the primary engine for Champion Level experience and high-rarity loot:

  • Select a Trial tier you can complete within two to three minutes.
  • Clear dense enemy packs rapidly to summon the Trial boss.
  • Open the guaranteed reward chests upon victory, salvage unwanted drops, and immediately repeat the run.

Prolonged, high-tier Trial attempts that take five minutes or longer yield substantially less Champion experience per hour than continuous, rapid clears.

Ability Training Management

Abilities continue to level up through real-time training queues after hitting level 70. Keep your training slot running continuously to push key skills toward rank 10.

  • Active skills: Prioritize primary attacks like Cleave or Frenzy, followed by key utility and crowd-control abilities including Whirlwind, Charge, and Shockwave.
  • Passive skills: Train Power Infusion and Fleet Footed first to secure passive damage scaling and extra movement speed.
  • Queue discipline: Avoid spreading upgrade books across abilities you do not actively use. Focus on bringing your core five-skill combat rotation to rank 8 and above before leveling alternate skills.
