Eternium on PC is a classic-style action RPG built around fast combat, character growth, and a long-running hunt across multiple worlds. You choose to play as a Mage, Warrior, or Bounty Hunter, then develop that hero by leveling up, learning abilities, increasing attributes, and replacing ordinary equipment with stronger gear. The story follows your pursuit of the arch-enemy Ragadam, whose plans lead you through four hand-crafted worlds and a wide range of environments, including dark caves, forests, villages, graveyards, demon-controlled castles, snowy mountain peaks, lunar craters, and the deserts, pyramids, and jungles of the red planet. Along the way, you battle skeletons, zombies, automatons, aliens, demons, dragons, and other creatures while uncovering a storyline filled with interplanetary intrigue and humorous characters. The setting has the scale of a traditional fantasy adventure, but its journey extends into science-fiction territory as the campaign moves from familiar dungeons and castles to the moon and Mars.

The core loop is direct and satisfying: move through each area, engage groups of enemies, use abilities to control the battlefield, open treasure chests, and improve your hero with the rewards you earn. Eternium’s signature controls are tap to move and swipe to cast, with drawn signs triggering spells; on PC, keyboard-and-mouse input gives that point-and-click foundation a precise, comfortable format. A larger display also makes it easier to follow enemy positions, read damage numbers and combat effects, and select targets while several abilities are active. That clarity matters as your skill set expands. A Mage, Warrior, or Bounty Hunter can use roughly 20 abilities, while companions add four abilities each, allowing combinations such as Frost Nova, Vortex, or Silence for crowd control, followed by offensive tools such as Arc Lightning, Immolate, Whirlwind, or Shockwave. A Bounty Hunter can instead use Smokescreen, Traps, and Snipe to approach encounters differently, while a Warrior can protect themselves with a shield or wield two weapons.

Your party develops beyond the main hero when you rescue a tank, healer, and ranger companion. Their abilities can be combined with yours to create tactical effects, so combat is not only about dealing damage quickly; it is also about deciding when to control enemies, support the group, or set up a more powerful sequence. Equipment and crafting provide another layer of planning. Treasure chests can contain gold, gemstones, and battle gear, including breastplates, helmets, hoods, shoulder pads, cloaks, capes, shields, and weapons. Gear advances from common to rare, epic, and legendary quality, while gemstones fit into armor sockets. You can craft socketed rings and amulets, then fuse three rings or amulets into a higher-quality item. On a larger PC screen, comparing equipment, checking sockets, and reviewing the difference between potential upgrades is less cramped, especially when sorting through repeated rewards after a battle.

Progression continues well beyond the story campaign. After reaching level 70, your experience contributes to unlimited Champion Levels that provide steady stat upgrades. Those Champion Levels are inherited by new heroes, giving later characters a stronger starting point. For players who want an ongoing challenge after the four story acts, Trials of Valor offers endless randomly generated levels, adding a repeatable mode built around continued combat and advancement. Eternium can also be played offline after the content download is complete, aside from a couple of online-only features. Gems, its main currency, can be collected from enemies and quests, and the game has no limiting stamina or energy system. With its class choices, companion tactics, gear tiers, socketed items, crafting, story exploration, and endless Trials of Valor progression, the PC version presents a substantial action RPG loop that rewards both immediate combat skill and careful long-term character planning.
