You cannot wipe out or "one tap" an intact, fully reinforced 100 billion (100B) power keep in a single solo attack during the Evony Battle of Gaugamela (BOG). Even an endgame solo march with maximum march expansions cannot overcome the sheer defensive troop volume of a 100B account. To defeat a castle of this size, you must use targeted solo hits to peel troop layers or snipe exposed units, then assemble an alliance rally to clear the remaining defense.
Why Solo Marches Cannot Zero a 100B Keep
A solo march fails to clear a 100B keep because the maximum offensive march size is dwarfed by the defender's total troop count. At Keep 45, an attacking player using a 500% March Size Expansion and offensive buffs reaching 6,000% to 7,000% can field roughly 5 million to 8 million troops in a single march.
In contrast, an active 100B keep holds between 500 million and over 2 billion layered troops across Tiers 1 through 15 (T1–T15). The bulk of this defense consists of massive T1 meatshields—often 1 billion or more T1 ground or mounted troops. These low-tier meatshields absorb incoming damage rounds while the defender's garrisoned siege and ranged units destroy the attacking march.
When high-level battlefield players mention "one-tapping" a mega keep, they refer to earning a heavily favorable point exchange in a single hit against an un-buffed preset or un-ghosted units, not reducing the enemy castle to zero power.
| Combat Factor | Maxed Solo March | 100B Defense Keep |
|---|---|---|
| Troop Count | 5M to 8M troops (with expansions) | 500M to 2B+ layered troops |
| Target Distribution | Concentrated primarily in one troop type | Spread across 15 troop tiers and 4 unit types |
| Defensive Buffs | Limited to attacking general and debuffs | Wall general, dragon talents, and 9 Subordinate Cities |
| Primary Failure Point | March wiped by defensive siege/ranged | Weakened only if meatshield or sub links drop |
When to Solo Attack vs. When to Rally
Solo attacks against a 100B keep should be treated as utility strikes rather than decisive assaults. Launching repeated full solo hits into an intact defensive meatshield rapidly drains your hospital capacity and feeds battlefield points to the opposing alliance.
When to Send a Solo March
Use a solo hit only under the following specific tactical conditions:
- Sniping un-ghosted high tiers: If a defending player recalls or exposes T14 and T15 marches to contest a portal, a rapid solo hit can eliminate those high-tier units before defensive reinforcements settle.
- Detaching Subordinate Cities: Striking an opponent whose sub cities are desynchronized or sniping mayors drops the defender's debuff capabilities.
- Testing meatshield depth: A fast probe strike can reveal whether the defender has active wall generals and determine how many defensive units are removed per exchange.
When to Call an Alliance Rally
Transition immediately to an alliance rally when:
- The target's T1 meatshield remains intact and actively absorbing damage.
- The defender's high-tier siege (T13–T15) is garrisoned at home, threatening to eliminate incoming solo marches before they reach high-value targets.
- You need sustained damage: an alliance rally pools 30 million to 50 million troops, providing the volume necessary to break multi-million HP defense layers.
Solo March Setup and Debuff Requirements
If you spot an opening to execute a surgical solo hit, do not send a default preset. The standard setup relies on high-tier ranged or siege units supported by carefully proportioned meatshield layers:
- Primary Damage Dealers (80%–85%): T14 or T15 Ranged or Siege troops to trade efficiently against defending mounted and mid-tier units.
- Buffer Meatshield (10%–12%): Small, balanced increments of T1 through T13 troops to absorb incoming defensive siege fire.
- Frontline Screen (Remaining %): High-tier ground and mounted troops to delay enemy direct attacks.
Before launching, verify your debuff thresholds. Attacking an account of this tier requires stacking enemy attack and defense debuffs between -2,000% and -3,500% across Subordinate City gear, general specialties, and blazons. Without sufficient debuffs to neutralize the defender's in-city stat bonuses, an offensive solo march will fail on the first combat turn. Once an opening is created, time your alliance's follow-up rally to hit immediately before the defender can heal or reset presets.

Good guide for Evony players. The strategy part was useful.
This saved me time in the early game.
I tried this today and it worked better than my old setup.
I wish I had read this before upgrading the wrong thing.
