To stockpile billions of resources in Evony without losing them to troop upkeep or enemy attacks, keep your primary reserves in sealed item boxes and gather open resources using dedicated farm accounts protected by continuous Truce Agreements.

Troops in your main keep continuously consume open food down to zero, but they never starve, abandon your city, or suffer debuffs at zero food. Because unboxed resources also invite enemy rallies during Kill Events and Server vs. Server (SvS), your combat keep should hold zero open food during daily operations.

Managing Boxed Reserves and Troop Upkeep

Boss monster rallies—including rotating event monsters such as Ymir, Pan, and Sphinx—award resource boxes directly to your inventory. These boxed reserves do not count toward your city's open resource count, cannot be consumed by army upkeep, and cannot be plundered if your city is attacked.

  • Hoard resource boxes: Keep all monster drops sealed until you are ready to start a construction project, research upgrade, or troop training batch.
  • Calculate exact costs: Determine the precise amount of food required for your target upgrade before touching your inventory.
  • Open and spend immediately: Open only the necessary food boxes and instantly click the upgrade button. Locking food into a building before the server upkeep interval ticks prevents your garrisoned and marching armies from eating the reserve.

Dedicated Farm Account Configuration

Secondary farm accounts supply the open wood, stone, ore, and food needed for major Keep milestones. Raising farm keeps to Keep 25 or Keep 30 unlocks five to six march slots, larger troop march capacities, and higher-tier gathering research in the Academy.

Fund continuous Truce Agreements on farm accounts using gems obtained from daily quest completions, alliance gifts, and Black Market refreshes. Keep troop training on farms limited to Tier 1 and Tier 2 siege engines. Low-tier siege provides high carrying capacity without inflating hospital healing costs or consuming massive amounts of food.

Gathering Optimization with Queen Jindeok

Gathering raw resource nodes requires maximizing final yield rather than raw speed alone.

  • Recruit Queen Jindeok: Station Queen Jindeok on every gathering march. Her special skill provides a 20% bonus resource yield from map resource spots upon clearing the tile.
  • Equip Champion Gear: Equip gathering generals with the four-piece Champion set to boost march speed and node gathering speed across wood, stone, and iron tiles.
  • Prioritize the Recovery Tree: In the farm's Academy, research the Recovery branch to maximize gathering speed and march load capacity before investing in military branches.
  • Clear Tiles Completely: Always exhaust a resource node entirely before recalling troops. Leaving partial tiles lowers overall node respawn rates across the kingdom map and forfeits completion bonuses.

Plundering Farm Accounts for Safe Resource Transfers

Trading resources through an alliance warehouse imposes an alliance tax rate that can consume up to 30% of the transferred volume. Moving open resources from a farm keep to your main combat keep is handled most efficiently through controlled city attacks within alliance territory.

  1. Disable Defenses: Open the farm account, deselect all Subordinate Cities so their troops do not defend, and dismiss any Wall General stationed on the ramparts.
  2. Evacuate Farm Troops: Dispatch all of the farm's gathering siege engines on long marches to distant alliance resource tiles or the Alliance Resource Depot to ensure no troops remain inside the city during the attack.
  3. Plunder the Farm: Drop the farm's Truce Agreement. Scout the farm once with your main keep to confirm zero defensive troops, then send fast cavalry or siege marches to plunder the unprotected stockpile.
  4. Spend and Re-Bubble: Once the resources transfer to your main account, immediately invest them into your scheduled construction, research, or troop production, and apply a fresh Truce Agreement to the farm account.
