To finish the Forge of Empires Fall Event questline, you must complete 56 total quests split into 35 immediate rush quests and 21 consecutive daily quests. Clearing these tasks provides baking ingredients (such as flour, sugar, apples, cinnamon, and chocolate) and advances milestone progress toward event building upgrades.

Begin by preparing your city layout and production cycles before starting the questline so you can clear the rush phase without delays.

Questline Structure: Rush Quests vs. Daily Tasks

The questline divides into two distinct operational stages:

Quest StageQuest CountAvailabilityTactical Role
Rush QuestsQuests 1–35Available immediately in sequenceRapid ingredient accumulation and early milestone rewards
Daily QuestsQuests 36–56One quest unlocked every 24 hours at server resetSteady ingredient flow; uncompleted quests queue until finished

Finishing the 35 rush quests quickly grants a substantial starting pool of ingredients, allowing you to target desirable Daily Specials early in the event. Once you reach Quest 36, progress is gated by the daily server clock. If you miss a day, daily quests stack up and remain available until the event ends.

Pre-Event City Preparation

Most Fall Event quests require short or long production cycles, resource collections, or combat encounters. Setting up your city grid in advance avoids major bottlenecks:

  • Build low-era production structures: Place 10 to 15 small production buildings, such as Bronze Age Blacksmiths, in a temporary flex space. When quests do not specify an era, low-era buildings occupy minimal space and let you complete 5-minute, 15-minute, or 1-hour cycles rapidly.
  • Pre-set long production runs: Start several 8-hour and 24-hour productions ahead of time and leave them uncollected until a quest requires them.
  • Maintain current-era production buildings: Keep two to three production buildings from your current age active. Daily quests frequently specify current-era production cycles, which cannot be completed using Blacksmiths.
  • Stock inventory buffers: Save small Forge Point packages in your inventory to clear spending or Great Building contribution tasks instantly without altering your regular contribution swaps.

Clearing Rush Quests 1 Through 35

The rush sequence focuses on foundational resource gathering, short production batches, and map or battle interactions. Speed up your progression with these steps:

  1. Pick the faster alternate condition: When a quest presents an "OR" choice, check map travel times. If an exploration task requires scouting a distant province, choose the alternate combat or production requirement instead of waiting on scout timers.
  2. Resolve battles through existing guild features: Fulfill army defeat requirements using Guild Expeditions or early Guild Battlegrounds encounters to progress multiple systems at once. Low-difficulty encounters can generally be auto-resolved with era-appropriate units or Rogues.
  3. Use inventory items and Great Buildings for collections: Clear coin, supply, or goods thresholds immediately by activating short resource boost items from your inventory or collecting from Great Buildings like Chateau Frontenac, Himeji Castle, or Blue Galaxy.

Handling Daily Quests 36 Through 56

Starting at Quest 36, tasks introduce steeper requirements, including incident searches, current-era productions, and higher-difficulty expedition encounters.

  • Manage current-era production timers: When assigned 4-hour or 8-hour runs in current-age buildings, start them immediately or substitute eligible supply-producing event buildings that match your current era.
  • Check Guild Expedition timing: If an expedition-specific task appears after you have already cleared your weekly expedition progress, take the alternative battle or negotiation route rather than waiting for the weekly reset.
  • Scan for incidents regularly: Daily quests may ask you to find several incidents around your city or roads. Clear visible incidents daily so fresh spawns are available when a quest triggers.

Spending Ingredients for Maximum Grand Prize Progress

Completing all 56 quests supplies the baseline ingredient volume needed to reach core milestone tiers. To convert those ingredients into the fully upgraded Grand Prize building:

  • Compare star efficiency: Recipes consume varying proportions of ingredients and award different star values. Prioritize recipes that yield the highest star-per-ingredient ratio to advance the Grand Prize meter as far as possible per bake.
  • Time your baking for key Daily Specials: Hold your ingredients until the bakery rotation features valuable items, such as primary building selection kits, attack-boosting support buildings, or finish production items. Spending during favorable Daily Special days maximizes the return on your 56-quest ingredient earnings.
