In Gacha Life on PC, the main activity begins with customization: you can create characters across 20 Character Slots and adjust details such as hairstyles, eyes, mouths, outfits, hats, and weapons. With hundreds of clothing and fashion items available, the process is less about selecting a single preset and more about assembling a look that fits a particular character or story. You can mix and match the available pieces, change poses, and build a group with distinct visual identities before taking them into the rest of the game. The larger display is useful here because it gives you more room to inspect character details and compare clothing, accessories, hairstyles, and other options without losing sight of the complete design. Mouse input also makes it easier to move through menus and select small customization controls accurately, especially when refining several characters in succession.

Once your cast is ready, Studio Mode turns those characters into the building blocks for original scenes. You can select from over a hundred backgrounds, place characters in different poses, and enter custom text for their dialogue. That makes the mode suitable for setting up conversations, dramatic moments, comedic sketches, or any other scene you can construct from the available tools. The Skit Maker extends this process by letting you combine multiple scenes into a larger sketch, so the game’s creative loop can move from designing individual characters to arranging a sequence with a beginning, middle, and end. A PC’s larger screen helps when you are checking how several characters, their poses, the chosen background, and the on-screen text fit together in one composition. Keyboard input is particularly practical for writing custom dialogue and handling repeated text entry while you build a multi-scene skit, while the mouse helps with selecting characters, poses, backgrounds, and other scene elements precisely.

Life Mode provides a more exploratory side of the game. You can take your own characters through areas such as the town and school, meet NPCs, and chat with them to learn more about their lives. These conversations can include surprises, giving exploration a purpose beyond simply moving between locations. Alongside that social activity, Gacha Life includes eight mini-games, including Duck & Dodge and Phantom’s Remix. Playing these activities lets you collect Gems, which can then be used to Gacha for rare gifts. The collection system offers over 100 Gifts to pursue, giving the mini-games a practical role in expanding the items available to you rather than treating them as separate distractions. You can farm for Gems without paying, and the game can be played offline without Wi-Fi, making the overall loop accessible whether you are focused on creating scenes, visiting NPCs, or building your collection. On PC, the larger display can make mini-game information easier to read and help you keep track of menus, rewards, and collection choices, while keyboard-and-mouse input supports quick repeated actions and more deliberate menu management.
