To beat Level 103 in Gardenscapes, clear the wooden crates blocking the bottom collection trays as quickly as possible. Lemonade glasses must reach the bottom of the board to be collected, but they cannot exit while wooden crates block the collection arrows. Prioritize making matches in the lower rows to trigger automatic tile cascades, build explosive power-ups, and clear open lanes for every lemonade glass to drop.

Level 103 Objectives and Obstacles

Lemonade glasses cannot be matched like standard garden pieces. Instead, they behave as heavy items that take up board space and only fall when the pieces or obstacles beneath them are cleared. Because crates seal the bottom exit points, matches made near the top of the board waste turns unless they directly set up explosives or affect lower tiles.

Additional lemonade glasses spawn as you drop active ones down the board or pass vertical thresholds. Focus on clearing the obstacles directly under active lemonades to keep the board moving.

Clear Bottom Crates to Trigger Cascades

Always examine the bottom three rows before making a move higher up. Clearing lower pieces forces upper pieces downward, triggering cascades that can:

  • Break or weaken crates without spending additional turns.
  • Shuffle incoming pieces into automatic four-piece or five-piece combinations.
  • Advance lemonade glasses downward through spontaneous matches.

If you have a choice between matching near the top to clear a single piece or matching adjacent to a lower crate, take the lower crate match every time.

Build and Combine Explosive Power-Ups

Standard three-piece matches clear blockers too slowly to beat Level 103 within the move limit. Creating explosives clears multiple tiles at once, clearing columns for lemonade drops while charging your Rainbow Blast meter.

  • Firecracker (match 4 in a line): Clears a cross pattern of one tile in each direction. Use it to crack an isolated crate or eliminate a stubborn piece directly below a lemonade.
  • Bomb (match 5 in an L- or T-shape): Clears a two-tile radius. This is the most efficient tool for removing clusters of reinforced crates.
  • Dynamite (match 6 in a line or cluster): Clears a three-tile radius, wiping out large segments of the lower row.
  • TNT Barrel (match 7 pieces): Clears a massive area across half the grid, opening immediate collection routes.

Whenever an explosion detonates, it charges the Rainbow Blast meter. Once charged, swap the Rainbow Blast with whatever piece color is most prevalent beneath your lemonade glasses or surrounding remaining crates. Pairing two Rainbow Blasts together clears the entire grid of standard pieces, dealing one layer of damage to all crates and immediately dropping lemonades down their columns.

Avoid Side-Column Traps

Diagonal matches made directly underneath a lemonade glass can pull it into an adjacent column. While this can help steer an item away from an unbroken double-layered crate, letting a lemonade drift into an outer column often slows down progress.

Center columns receive the highest piece turnover from gravity cascades, making them easier to manage. Outer columns have fewer adjacent matches, making it harder to assemble Bombs or Firecrackers. Check where a lemonade will settle before completing off-center matches beneath it.

Move Management in the Final Turns

When your counter falls below ten moves, stop clearing crates that do not lie along an active lemonade's path:

  1. Count the remaining vertical tiles between each lemonade and its nearest open exit tray.
  2. Ignore side matches that do not directly shift or drop those target columns.
  3. Detonate existing power-ups immediately rather than spending turns trying to maneuver them into ideal combos.
  4. Target pieces directly under the lowest lemonade to secure the first drop and trigger the final pieces into play.
