That plan changes when a routine transport mission turns into an ambush, drawing the Commander into a much larger conflict. Along the way, the Commander meets individuals and Tactical Dolls who bring their own stories to the journey and gradually become indispensable members of the team. This gives the game a clear narrative foundation, but the Commander’s role is also defined by constant tactical decision-making: assembling a capable group, reading each battlefield, equipping the team, and leading the Dolls through increasingly dangerous situations. On PC, the larger display gives the setting and characters more room to register, while keyboard-and-mouse input provides a natural way to move through menus, select units, inspect combat information, and manage the many details surrounding a growing team.

The central gameplay loop takes place in 3D combat stages built around more than simply advancing toward an enemy. Dynamic elements such as cover options, mechanisms, and different terrains require you to analyze the combat situation before committing your Dolls to a position or attack. A larger screen is especially useful when you are comparing routes through a stage, checking which areas provide cover, and tracking how terrain and battlefield mechanisms affect your next move. Mouse control also suits the precision required when selecting a Doll, examining a target, or coordinating a response while several tactical considerations compete for attention. Outside combat, the realistic weapon system gives the Commander a substantial equipment layer to manage. Handguns, machine guns, and shotguns are all available, and each weapon can be viewed through a 360° preview before you decide how it fits the team. Accessories can be attached freely to create a distinct appearance, while choosing the finest weapons becomes part of preparing for tougher enemies. On a PC monitor, the extra space makes it easier to compare weapon details and inspect customized equipment without losing sight of the surrounding interface.

The experience also extends beyond missions and gear. In the Refitting Room, you can interact freely with the Dolls, while the Dormitory uses a dynamic camera to capture their day-to-day moments and create a quieter contrast to the contamination zones and combat stages. These spaces give the characters room to develop as more than battlefield assets. The Covenant Ring system makes that relationship-building explicit: deepen Affinity through gift-giving, inscribe a Covenant at the required Affinity level, and unlock exclusive archives, memories, voice lines, and a Covenant Projection for the Dolls involved. Together, the tactical stages, weapon customization, character interaction, and relationship systems make the Commander’s progress feel multidimensional. You are not only trying to complete the next bounty mission or survive the next ambush; you are also building a team, understanding its members, refining its weapons, and deciding how to approach each battlefield. That combination of 3D strategy, collection-focused equipment decisions, and social systems makes the PC version a practical fit for players who want a more readable interface for planning, comparison, and careful command.
